My friend just posted this on my fb, It sums it up pretty well!

3 years, "Mommy I love you." 10 years, "Mom whatever." 16 years, "My mom is so annoying." 18 years, "I'm leaving this house." 25 years, "Mom you were so right." At 30 years, "I want to go to my moms house." At 50 years, "I don't wanna lose my mom." At 70 years, "I would give everything to have my mom here with me."

25 today!!!!

What do you have in store? One BIG roller coaster ride! Then it gets calm in the 20's for the most part. The teen years are def CRAZY at times! Lucky for me I only had on very rebellious child in the teen years, every kids is different. I am also curious how Claire will be as a teen, but I try to not think about it too much and just enjoy her while she adores me and I am her number one besides Papa! Soon enough she will hate me, be moody, call me bad names and slam doors and steal my makeup :)

I think the key to kids is as they are in the younger give them the keys to be successful, how to accept no, how to choose the right path, how to pick themselves up when they fall, the teen years go alot smoother. Just keep it up and remember positive reinforcement,

Also I think encouraging sports, it really does help keep them out of trouble, Alin has played something since he was in 7th grade He has not been in to drugs, or anything really that negative, He did become a teen father since then he has kept his pants on. (No I am not really a grandma they placed the baby for adoption) But since I taught him to pick himself back up it helped him get through it all a lot easier then it could have.

Having a girl is scary as you watch them get older. I help take care of my niece a lot and see her everyday. She is very tall already she fits a size 7 in women’s shoes and will be 9 in November of this year!!! She is very pretty and starting to get her little shape…(OMG Help)
So many people will think she is older then she really is like men :-/
Right now if you seen her you would think she is at least 11 just by her height alone

Shannin you know me I have 8. 19 this age sucks because technically I can't prevent her from being stupid anymore. Then you throw in the mix 3 more actuall teenagers 16, 15, and 14 it s like please shoot me in the head. Raging hormones, adittudes, broken bones, short tempers, and not to meantion the damn grocery bill. My girl eats as much as the boys and a lot of the time she eats more than them. Then 12 and 10 not quite teenagers but all the same problems. ast but not least 7 and 6. The 7 r old has a mohawk and he will let it grow all the way to is shoulders before he wants to cut it. But always has to have it up. He has a temper and can keep up with the older ones and he is like completely pint sized. It is funny to watch when they mess up somethin of his because he will tackle them and beat the crap out of him. They can't get away from him he is like a damn spider. Then the 6 yr ol she is my little diva. When someone pisses her off she doesn't yell or hit. She goes straight for their favorite thing and destroys it. She will ripit apart then hand it to them in pieces. It is insane she doesn't put up with anything from them.

My 4-year-old boy does that already (with the girls). He stops mid-sentence/stride/anything whenever he sees a pretty girl, and it's hard to get him going again. He's even gone as far as telling a waitress that he loves her (after whipping around and putting his arm in his food to watch her walk by)! I am NOT looking forward to that one as a teenager.

He will also go up to women and tell them that he likes their "boo-boos"!!!

Too funny. Well he will be a man soon enough. I am not looking forward to the teen years. More so for my four year old daughter. Too scary.

Well he is already interested in girls, and likes to stare at the mannequins at the mall in the women’s underwear section as well as the Victoria secret commercials….. O_o
So yes I am scared….lol
I took him to see the Transformers movie and in the opening parts of the movie you see the girls derrière in some underwear, but that was enough to make him say in a whisper voice “Oh yeah” I looked at him like he had two heads and he said a bit loud“What…I am a man mom”

But it's true. He started spazzing out today because he noticed all 3 of his grandfathers and his daddy are bald/balding, so he thought he was going to loose his hair soon.

Well, my almost 11yr old is "experimenting" with everything right now. You know, cooking (and almost burning down my kitchen), setting balloons on fire to see what will happen, testing the theories of gravity by jumping off the top bunk of the bunk beds....I'm sure it will only get worse!
