What did you do this weekend?
Let's see, we beat the heat on Friday by treating the kids to their first movie. But the guy at the theater told us the movie wasn't showing there, that it was showing at the theater across the street. So we hurried the kids back through the mall and to the other theater to find out no, I was right it was at the other one. In the end we missed the show time that would have been at my son's nap time, so instead we saw it during his dinner time. So I spent half of the movie standing to keep him quiet. At the very least the movie was free, because of the employee's mistake.
Saturday was the kids' swimming lessons. My husband slept in, so my FIL helped me out. After that I got to spend the afternoon home with the kids while hubby worked.
Sunday, Church, Costco, home.

Saturday was M's last holiday day, so we took the kids out for lunch at the local Harvester. We then let them use some of their birthday money to buy some new toys that they've pestered for and spent the rest of the afternoon playing with lego / kreo creations and monster high dolls. After the kids went to bed I had an hour long blast on Betty (my bike) , a shower and some quality time with my man ;)
Sunday, my freezer died and I had to dig the spare one out of my Ma's garage. It was not a fun day.
The start of the new week brings school shoe shopping - yay, whoop, kill me now. Bonus - the sun has finally popped out - happy dance!

I spent the entire week in, last Friday my 4 year old fractured her elbow so we was limited to what we could do then my youngest came out in chickenpox on Sunday so from that point on we were stuck in the house :( I did manage to escape to cinema on Saturday with my two oldest daughters whilst dad had the little one.
Saturday we spent most of the day at my son's football club, it was the end of season AGM and prize-giving/presentations. There was a sausage sizzle and bouncy castle, a good day out. Then on Saturday night my husband and I went on a date. We had dinner and saw a movie. It was lovely. Yesterday was an "at home" day, my daughter and I had a horse ride together and I spent the afternoon trying to catch up with the laundry. I didn't manage to get it all done but I did make a dent in it :-)
Today I have my daughter's dog at the vet. Not sure what is going to happen there, could be the end of poor doggy..... have to wait and see......

I had an appointment yesterday, so my dad watched the kids. Him and my step mom offered to take them for the night, so I had QUIET at home all evening. 'Stayed up' (til almost 9) watching a movie cuz my head hurt too bad to sleep.
