What were you in high school. Were you the cheerleader, homecoming queen, slut, nerd, loady, the most unpopular girl in school. Where did you fit in. Please share. Just for fun. Thanks.

I was kind of a loner. I was the girl in all honors classes, with a baby, and had friends in different groups. I never really got the whole clique thing in HS, because i was friends with popular people, nerds, losers, different ethnic groups and I could never accept the idea that we couldnt all just hang out together.

i was a nerdy goth girl??? not always that way . i was picked on for existing. so i felt like if i was going to be picked on maybe i should give them somethign to pick on me for. so i dyed my hair fire red, purple, electric blue, pink, orange, ( notall at the same time) some reason every body felt the need to beat me down to make themself feel better. but i had my two besties in the whole world so they helpped make everything better. after switcing schools though from a richy snob to more of an inner city i was the nerdy artistic socialite. art club french club drama club pride club ( though i am not lesbian i just believe equal rights and i dont put up for bullying no matter what circumstances) school newspaper editor , FCLA ( home ec club) teachers aid, computer tutor,

the teasing subsided for the most part i had one gil in art that got on my case pretty bad but that was it. i think she may havebeen jealous cause i could walk in to any of the art classes and be welcomed even if i was not in that class as a student. ( i didnt skipanything just my study halls which i would get passes to leave or have a signed note saying that my last two periods i could leave cause all they were were study halls so instead i filled my time in the art rooms instead of going home early. mind you i still dress the same with diff hair colors and all and looked more like your old school early green day type rocker. least i wasnt getting called blue piggy and crisco though i was not fat =(

I dont really know what group I'd put myself in... I hung out with everybody, all groups, all the time, the stoners the smokers the "gangsters" the rockers the freaks the geeks you name it. I was never bullied and I never bullied ( but I was quick to put someone in their place if need be) I wrote for my highschool paper for a short while, until I got bored, got pretty decent grades, went to pep rallys school games all that, then I dropped out two weeks before graduation, I would have graduated early in a very small (15 student) graduation.

I started off being the bullied "black " girl ( I was the only one that wasnt Aboriginal and apparently a target ) but I decided I wasnt going to put up with it and went on to become school captain , captain of the school surfing team , SRC leader several years running ,and was heavily invloved in the arty side with theatre and music .

I hung out with the boys after school hours because I liked being upfront and not having to listen to mundane bitchyness.

I was friends with all of the groups and would often flit between certain groups several times a day socialising and cracking jokes , I was a class clown and a little slutty at times but certainly not the worst.

I still count many of my highschool friends from the cool crowd, sporty crowd, slutty crowd , geeky crowd , freaky crowd, druggie crowd as friends today.

I loved highschool !

Hmm I don't know what I really was. I did the whole cheerleading thing, I played volleyball, and did the pagent thing. My senior yr of highschool I started a new school and just sorta sat back and hung out. I didn't really have a clique I had many different types of friends. My husband on the other hand was the star football player...I couldn't stand him in highschool...I thought he was full of himself lol. Then we started hanging out the summer after we graduated and that was that.

Oh so true. Last time we went on a date Damian bitched the whole time that he is uncomfortable in social settings and wanted to go home and didn't want $12 dessert. I think he is uncomfortable wearing real clothes if you ask me because he's fine if we're over someone's house with lots of people around.

I would say a nerd, but we all were - we had to pass a test to even get in and we had higher academic standards than the rest of the district. The group of people I mainly hung around with was the bi clique I guess - 7 out of 11 of us were bisexual and out.

Jeeze... I don't really know where I fit in. I had my great group of friends and, for the most part, we ignored the rest of the school. All my guy friends were the "AV nerds" and our parties consitsed of a bunch of us getting together to play Halo (super fun with 10 guys and my best friend and me! lol).

Apparently, my junior and senior years I was pretty popular (unknown to me...) because one of my few "outside the group" friends was a really popular football player and everyone thought we were dating for the longest time (in reality, he helped me teach Sunday School at our chirch, so we would get together most Saturday nights to plan out the next day - but I did have a really big crush on him and always wished he would ask me out! lol).

So I guess I was part of the "AV nerd" group and the "weirdo" group (my best friend and I had fun in high school - our favorite actvity was skipping down the hall between classes singing random funny songs... hee hee hee...).

I realy loved high school and sometimes I wish I was back there... I did enjoy my classes, but I really loved my group of friends and I feel sad that we've all spread out over the last 7 years since graduation...

I went through a lot from the instability I experianced very early in life from moving a lot. In one year alone, I went to 4 different schools. We moved on average every few months or yearly. It wasn't a good atmosphere to grow up in - and no, my dad wasn't military. Just thought the grass was greener everywhere else. It really isn't! lol

I've had so many different types of friends, but prefer to have a few best friends still to this day over a large crowd.

In high school we stayed for a few years in a tiny town nestled high up in the mountains in Washington State. Went dirt biking on weekends, swam in the river in the summers and went sledding in the winters. It rained a lot and was quite depressing.

I didn't do well in school due to a learning disability. Neither my parents nor the school I was at could help me enough to get me to pass. I got depressed, gained 100lbs my freshman year, and ended up dropping out after 9th grade.

Studied for a year, got over the depression, got my GED.. got my license eventually too. Lost most of the weight, then went to community college for my Business Admin degree where I learned to overcome/work with my disability. Did really well in college too.

Got a job. Met my boyfriend and now we're parents shedding all this joy onto our kids haha
25 soon and due with our 2nd kid..... in about 4 weeks :)

All in all, since I've been through so much it's hard for me to get along with others. I'm attracted to people with issues, just as they usually know how it feels. I also love helping others with their issues.

My best friend in highschool didn't want to leave her house and was a recluse. After being her friend, she blossomed, made other friends, went on to go to a university and started to talk to her mom again. She just needed help opening up.

So I'm weird, love being weird, attract weird and am attracted to weird :)

I was shy. Very shy. I had many friends in many circles but one best friend and a boy I spent WAY too much time mourning because he didn't love me as much as I loved him! Ha! I was artsy and was happiest in art class or painting backdrops for school plays. I didn't like high school. It was awkward, emotional, girls were catty and boys were horny. Way too intense for my immature, sheltered self! Now that I am going to my 20th HS reunion, I expect many will be surprised. I have evolved quite a bit and most importantly, I am happy with who I am. Yeah, long road to get here:) I think the reunion will be fun and if not, I will just drink more. Ha!

A bit of everything really, I didn't and still don't feel the need to fit in with people. I was very clever and didn't pretend i wasn't and also a bad girl :).
I had a boyfriend out of school with a job and a car. I hung out with whoever I wanted to on that day. I was also the kind of person that would be the first to speak to the new kid or stick up for the one that was getting bullied. I was accepted by everyone but would never have considered myself to be in their group. I met someone from school a few years ago and they told me many people were a bit scared of me because I never backed down and fought mine and everyone else's corner. I'm still like that, I will stick up for anyones rights and don't like anyone being treated unfairly.

I was also a soccer player(football for all you british/colonialists lol) but I didn't really fit in there either. I guess I was a drifter, but the upside is that I always knew what was going on!-not difficult when there are only 200 people at your school. LOL

pregnant..but i was like the smart, cool, funny girl..i got along with everybody dated popular guys..like at west catholic my boyfriend(first boyfriend) was the senior that everyone loved, but he didn't play sports he was the anchor for the school t.v station..westnet..lol...he walked down the hall and everybpdy knew him..lol. Now my other friends(we were freshman) also dated guys that were well known..football captain, basketball star..and we were cute, long hair, so automatically they said we were conceited and didnt like us(mainly the ex-gs of our boyfriends..lol)...couldn't be farther from the truth...now they did get to like me, but a couple of my friends kept enemies..but i hung out with everyone.i ran track for a different organization and did ballet, jazz and african, but i got along with everyone..

http://www.circleofmoms.com/just-debates

after i had my son and switched schools, i was put in the Math, science and technology charter for the "smart" kids...i was cool with everyone, dated the football star, like to make people laugh and give them advice...i guess i didn't have a certain group, i had one close friend, april, we had our kids around the same time but her daughter died from SIDS..her name was yadashia..i won't forget it...

I was artsy. I had friends, but mostly just "floated" the first 2 years. The last two years I was on scholarship at a boarding school for the "Artistically Gifted" which focused on Fine Arts. I fit in beautifully there--we were all a bit odd and non-conforming. I was in the Visual Arts program, but we all hung out and intermingled. It was fun to see work from the other departments that I just couldn't fathom.

Oh boy, I had a couple different cliques I hung out with. Small town so pretty much all of those cliques intermingled.

I was a goth in grade 9-10 and a skateboarder. Figure that one out? We were the Dazed and Confused crew and there was about 40-50 of us.

Yeah, we were the kids with all the parties.

I also hung out with another group of girls in the later grades who were ummm 'inbetweenies"?

In grade 7-8 I hung out with the popular girls but uck. All they did was talk about each other behind their backs, talk about how super awesome they were and pick on their lowly subjects. BORING!

I'm a "baby" too. I'm 24 and graduated on time in 2005.
I was one of the popular people, but I hung out with everybody.

I was on dance squad, in chorus, language clubs, theater, booster club, etc. I did all AP and honors classes, so I fit in with the nerds. My brother was a skater/stoner type and I hung out with them.

I always hated labels and refused to follow them. Being well rounded makes it easier to fit in at random dinner parties because there will always be some shared interest to discuss.
