I knew an asshole that did just that. He and his wife got accidentally preggo. They had a kid, and he loves her but never wanted kids. He told his wife no more, and she wanted one. He told her, "well we can't because I already got a vasectomy. I told you I never wanted them".
I think both are really bad things to lie about. I cannot think of one valid reason a person would lie about either.

Wow! I would never lie about birth control or even be considering sterilisation without talking to my partner first. If it'd been done before we'd met, it would still have been brought up esp. when talk turned to babies. Sheesh!

Yea....dude is a total douchebag. No one should be going through life altering surgery without discussing it with their partner. Especially something like that. He KNEW she wanted a baby. He KNEW she was trying to get pregnant. And he thought she'd *just drop it*??
Yea...douchebag AND stupid. Maybe it's a good thing he got himself fixed. . . .

I was just reading an article where a man got a vasectomy without telling his wife. That's horrid on his part IMO. On the other hand being tricky and not taking your BC is deceitful too.
What would you do if your husband did that? I'd probably divorce him. I'd be so mad. Especially if I wanted more.

Agreed. Both are extreme examples of ruining the trust in a relationship.
