Would you ever consider painting your front door these colors?

I want a blue house with a blue door, walls and blue appliances!!! All shades of blue

I always found it weird. I'm of the mind that wood should never be painted. I would have a nice dark stain on the door.

Mine has been Green before, but it's bright red now. I live in a grey house, so most of those wouldn't work.

That said, a TON of people in my neighborhood have bright yellow doors. It looks really cute on several of them, but the rest look a little odd....they look bad. I don't know what they were thinking. It's new, like they all just decided to pain them bright yellow in the past year or so.

There is also a house with a light blue door that is REALLY cute. It's grey with a stormy navy blue trim and bright blue door and shutters....sounds odd, but really cute.

If it were my house the door would be blue, purple or possibly green. My Ma would have a fit if it were green though, as she's from a fishing family and apparently a green door is bad luck? Id also have the brick work rendered and painted in a complimentary shade :)

I don't own my front door either, it's currenty a steel blue colour. But if I could, I would paint it any shade of blue, green, orange or yellow.

I don't own my front door, but if I did... I think I'd paint it a new 'off' color every year or something. I'm quirky like that. ;) Assuming it wasn't a nice wood stain already though. I wouldn't want to ruin that.

I'd go green :P Maybe light blue depending on the rest of the house.
But I'm going to have to say, probably not to all of them. I prefer stained wood to painted, so that's my ultimate decision :P
