One movie I HATE, HATE, HATE is "Starship Troopers" I was excited because it was based on the book by my favorite author. The first part didn't follow the book, but it was very Heinleinesqe so I was happy about that, then when the bugs had them surrounded, it went downhill. Heinlein would have had everyone die at that point.

Another favorite, "The Muppet's Christmas Carol" I get all teary every time when in the future, Tiny Tim is gone. I know that Scrooge is going to have a change of heart and Tiny Tim will be okay, besides HE'S A FUCKING FROG, and yet I get all teary.
