Lead Poisoning

Wanting to connect with more mum's that have dealt with the issues of Lead Poisoning, seemingly common in older home communities but surprising damaging to a child. My son had severe lead poisoning (blood level 73) at age 1.5, spent time in the hospital, and I was only told he would suffer brain damage with no details of to exactly what extent! However, after much research I became better prepared to deal with the "possibilities" of his future behavior. Please share your stories and knowledge!
