What are your thoughts on the current Republican candidates?

Quiet board! Trying to start up some conversation :)



I'm sort of...worried about the upcoming election. I'm worried about Obama's chances of re-election (I will be voting for him, but with the way things are, I could see uninformed voters voting against him or not voting at all) and I'm worried about the Republican candidates' plans for our country. What do you all think? What issues weigh heaviest on your mind? For me, women's issues are really a concern (birth control, rape laws, etc.)

I don't know Beth, I'm worried about the candidates, but I'm more worried about the conservative faction that thinks one of these candidates might make a good president. Another very troubling trend is the laws about woman's issues being passed now. I wonder of the Republicans had any clue just how asinine these tea party conservatives would be when they adopted them into the party.

My concerns are also about women's rights, voter rights, funding of education, I'd really like to see corporations striped of their person-hood rights, and I'd like to see campaign finance reform addressed in a more serious and thorough manner. That's just the beginning of my list.

Thanks for trying to get a conversations going... I only check in here occasionally. (obviously.)

My thoughts on the current Republican Candidates..Well I think I will refer to Cypress Hill on this one....Insane in the membrane!



I am preparing for my defection to Canada just in case one of the nutters win because right now I think the US has gone crazy. The laws being passed state by state taking away personal and private freedoms are worrying me. The level of fear mongering hate among those who disagree with Obama is scaring the crap out of me. I am currently learning the Canadian National Anthem in preparation. Of course I have changed the wording a bit. I have been singing ..Oh Canada, Oh Canada...you seem less crazy..
