Encouraging morally correct materials

Sometimes as a librarian and a mother I wonder if my profession could be a tool for encouraging morally correct materials to be circulated in my library. I am bound by the Library Bill of Rights to uphold any and all materials in our library but as a mom and working with teens I see so many children lost without adult direction. Is there any suggestions anyone may have to help these teens without influencing my beliefs on them.
