OK great news. Got phone fixed, got in touch with school and I have higher hopes than I did about a week ago. First day and no problems (knock on wood). Spoke to the social worker, I think, he was. He's gonna have the school psychologist sit in on a couple of Emma's classes and get an idea of what steps we need to take make it a great year for her. Thank God. If he hasn't called me by Friday, I'll call him. I called asking for a behavior IEP and explained the situation from last year. He agrees that we don't want a repeat. He's unsure if we need to have Emma fully evaluated for the IEP so that is why the "shrink". Emma's so excited she is in sports and I'm sooo hoping that maybe this can be an outlet for her. Soooo looking forward to a positive year and wishing a good year for all of you too.
