long island aquarium has toddler classes for 2-4 yr olds, the local nature centers usually have programs along with the libraries in your area

We just went to our first gymboree class in east northport this week. They have a class for 0 - 6 months and so on.. it was great, a little pricey but fun.

MY GYM!! I taught at the MY GYM in Huntington for a year and now have a two year old who I take to classes in Stony brook. They have a great structured class for kids but don't overdue the sitting. they teach easy gymnastics(balance, holding on, upside down movement, etc) and they teach parents how to do fun exercises and skills so you can work on them at home. The gym is always set up a different way each week there class activities change each week.

THE LITTLE GYM!!!! My son goes to the one is Sayville. Classes start at 4months and go to age 3 for mommy and me. My son has been going for over a year, he is going to be 2, and LOVES IT!!! They do alot of developmental skills and singing and sensory. It is REALLY great!!! There are other locations but that is the one I know of. As for safety swim, It is never to early to get your child used to the water.
