Hi Annie,

I just started a meetup group... MOMs Travel Club. I plan on having all meetings on the weekend so please come and check it out because you may be able to meet some other moms there and find out about other play groups. Most of the groups I am in meet during the week.
What time are the mommy and me movies on the weekends? I'd love to go...

the movies at the grove are actually in the theater... they show a movie on the big screen, but what's cool is they turn the volume down a bit so it isn't as scary, and they leave the lights on, and they set up a folding table so you can change your baby there without leaving the theater! Its very chill, people walk around with their babies and the bigger kiddos can run around and scream all they want...



they do have lots of concerts and fun things out on the grass too. they also have things like this at the americana in glendale :)



i checked out meetup.com and joined LA MILKS, but unfortunately most of their events are on the weekdays when i'm at work :(.

Funny, I just responded to another thread about Mommy and Me Los Angeles groups. I've been looking to meet new moms in the LA area so I checked out Meetup.com. One of the groups I have meet ups at least 3 times a week and they get together for girls night out on occasions too. I wish I knew about it when I was on maternity leave. I have yet to meet up with the ladies mostly because I work in OC and have been too tired to get out during the week. But I plan to attend some soon when I get over my cold! Good luck.
