Hey y'all! I had a beautiful baby girl, Lilly, 6 months ago and I have been exploring ways to get back to my pre-pregnancy weight. I am breastfeeding, so anything involving pills or starvation (lol) is def out! I am a stay at home mom, so I should have plenty of time for the gym or to work out at home, right? HA! We just moved into a new house, and it seems like every day consists of unpacking, cleaning, and Lilly and my husband. I had tried Curves before I got pregnant, and honestly, it was amazing, but like I said, no time now. I am currently looking for a gym in the area that might have a daycare center (?) but haven't found one yet. Too big a dream I guess! So yeah, thats me! Good luck in everyone's progress, and hopefully by Christmas, we will all have reached our goals!

Hey Anne! Welcome, and congrats on your little baby girl. My little girl is 5 months old now. I'm breastfeeding also, so I don't want to use supplements or pills either. I read somewhere that you should lose no more than 3 lbs. per week if you are nursing. I've been able to do it by eating smaller portions more often throughout the day (about every 3 hours, just like your baby!), and alternating weight training and cardio 6 days per week. I do 20 minutes on cardio days, and about 45 minutes on weight training days.

I've had a little trouble recently in the motivation department. I keep trying to remind myself that summer is right arond the corner!

I hope you can find a gym nearby. Although my gym does have a daycare, which I do used once in a while, I've been trying to go early in the morning after my baby's early morning feeding. My gym opens at 4am. As hard as it is to go, I'm already up, so I mine as well. I usually come home from my workout, and go back to bed. The other thing I've done is wait until my husband gets home from work in the evenings. He gets his daddy time with the girls, and I get some time to myself! Good luck to you!
