my son is 5 months old today and i still have a baby belly! i am so sick of my belly! i am working out like crazy. I am eating a bit healthier and nursing him but i am still feeling fat!
How long did it take you? are you nursing? what is your secret?
I am so discouraged. Summer is here and I still don't fit my pre pregnancy clothing:(
I am hoping for results in the next few months.
I am praying that it took 9 months to gain so maybe 9 months to really lose it?
here's hoping!

It took me 9 months to lose the weight, but I still have a lot of toning to do. Unfortunatetly, that is taking me a lot longer than I would like, so I still have a belly (my baby is 21 mths old now). The fact I have more energy and feel better about myself than I did when I was 30 lbs+ heavier is my motivation to keep working at it.
I was nursing when I lost the baby weight. I was doing a mix of pumping and nursing for by baby's first 9 months. I was being sure to eat 6 small and healthy meals a day, and drinking lots of water. I was working out 5 or 6 days a week, alternating weight training (45 min. workout max) and cardio (20 min.). The weight training is a must to tone those muscles. Some areas (esp. belly) will need some more work so do ab work more often.
Good luck to you, and don't give up! You'll get there!
