This year it looks like I'll have my step daughters that weekend plus my own 5 month old... Is there something short but still sweet and romantic I can do without having to dump my kids off with my Mum?

well I have 3 children so this is right up my alley...LOL. This year we were lucky to get a all night sitter :) .... First plan something fun for the kids I like to buy a bag of valentine's kisses and give each a color my oldest gets red my middle gets pink and my baby gets silver and I hid them in the house and let them run around and find them. Take them out to the park or zoo (get them nice and tired so they sleep good). After bedtime its your turn.. I have sent my husband out to get a pizza and I got us a movie and I set out a blanket on the living room floor and we ate and when we were done I got out the massage oils I got and we gave eachother massages and needless to say the movie didn't get watched all the way through.. You can plan something romantic for you too that you can do with the kids in the house.. Good Luck and have fun!

Wait until the kiddos go to sleep and make a romantic dinner and cuddle ;)
