Lost again this week. 1.5 lbs! YAY! I started walking on my lunch break. I am going to try to walk everyday unless it rains. I think that will help me lose faster.

Another thing I want to start doing too is when I start to get cravings trade my wanting to eat with some cleaning. I figure if I have time to sit and eat something I am not supposed to I have time to clean.

I read something about how the cravings kick in after a couple of weeks of dieting....it made alot of sense. It said something like your body is going through withdrawl of all the bad toxins, and craves it back like a junkie. I have gone through my withdrawl period...not to say I don't have tough days...but it gets easier once you get past week 3. Then week 5 tends to be a bit tougher. Once past all of that, and your body hits a rythm...it tends to be easier...at least that is how it has always been for me.

Well my long term goal as of right now is to lose 70 lbs. How long it will take will be determined by how diligent I am at following weight watchers. So far so good. I have lost 11.2 lbs since starting on Valentine's day. I'll keep you posted weekly. Good luck to you all!!!!!

Well Tah, very happy for you! I have hit a bit of a plateau. Not only did I NOT make a 10lb loss, but somehow I gained 0.4. So I am ending this month with a 8.6lb loss. Wish it could have been at 9 like it was yesterday FFS! It is so nice out today, and I just want all my work to pay off so I can look cute this summer!

That is awesome Heather. Keep it up. I have gotten off track of walking due to being sick for 1/2 the month. I am back to the weight I was before my period, and I only have 1 day left in the month. I still have 1 lb left to lose to make my 10lb mark for the month. Don't think it is happening : (

Marina that's not bad only gaining .2 and getting your period. I bet once it's gone you'll have a great loss.

MMMmmmm CHILI! that sounds so good!

My hubby wants to make biscuits and gravy this coming weekend. Yum! He's a southern boy and likes to make all kinds of nice fattening southern treats. Will have to save all my extra points for that day.

Well I bent...yes I did...my husband made his chili....ground turkey...pinto beans and tomato sauce never tasted so good.....technically, I can have those things....but it taste too good to have been healthy. I'm not ashamed and I'll do it again. He has won awards for the flipping chili....how can I resist........now....that was yesterday.....I'm back on track and according to the scale, I'm still good, didn't gain with my indulgence, but I would have gladly paid with a pound knowing I would have gotten it off today anyway. I'm re focused...drinking my water and eating fruit instead of leftovers

Ok, so I have been holding steady...no loss or gain until this am. I gained 0.2lbs...not a big deal...but ifyou saw how I ate yesterday, and how active I was, I really thought I was gonna lose my final pound. But I did get my period, and that always messes things up.

My scale said 9 more lbs down since last week, but I'm too nervous to believe it so I'll wait for my weigh in before I do the jig...I will say this, because it's hard to notice the change in ourselves at first, my skinny jeans are looking more and more like regular jeans, so I'm sure I'm losing something...

LOL...no be nice! I cannot have ANY fun food. It is not worth missing a day of potentially losing some weight. All that food will be there when I have lost all that I need to. No temptations please!

I lost another full pound today. I have hit another range of 10's digits and am very excited. I still have 2 full pounds to make my goal this month and only have 8 days. I hope so much I don't fluctuate to the point of missing it like I did last month. I should be getting my period also, wich always fucks up the weight loss.

Wanted fried chicken.....but ate half a grapefruit and half a banana, the banana isn't on the list but I need potassium while doing this....yea me..cause I was really thinking about stopping at dodges chicken....willpower...lol

Yeah Vicki, it is the carbohydrates in the potatoes...anything with carbs turns into sugar in the body. I have no idea how to counter that with another food. it is just one of the things that I avoid when I am dieting. Once I am done, I will have a balanced diet that includes potatoes, rice, beans...whatever I want...but it does not help me lose. Just maintain.

I have lost 0.2 since yesterday, so now I am at 26lbs total loss. I would love to hit 30lb mark by the end of this month....but I think I will just lose 2-3 more. I will still be happy with that. We will see.

In the last week i have lost 15.4lbs. It hasn't been a healthy way of doing but heck the breakdown of a 7 year relationship will do that to you. Now i'm never going back to what i was. I'm going to get a hot body and he is going to miss it and he will never have it again.

i have specific foods i can eat. i am not eating breads right now and the only rice ive had is 2 peices that were wrapped around my 2 pieces of sushi this morning. i wake up and eat a grapfruit, or maybe 2 eggs..or maybe together, and i munch on fruit throughout the day since im always in class, or on my way somewhere. i drink so much water my teacher probably thinks have the bladder the size of a pea..lol. i can have almost anything, but not fried, so i substitue that with baking it with brad crumbs..but i haven't done that in a couple weeks, i don't think i look like i lost 7lbs, but when i went to my weigh in there it was, i was like really, lets do that again..lol, it was the same scale maybe even the same jeans from the week before...skinny...lol.....i haven't been to gym since like last monday and i started this on last thursday. i have been ubber busy but i did go to karate and thats 800 calories a session x 2 sessions a week of "kick girl, change your stance, change your guard, front kick stepping front kick"..or doing the longest katas known to man..lol. everybody is doing great.

i found out why i wasn't losing that much weight but i did go down a size, it's my weight training and whey protein, he took me off of that and if i do the weights they have to be low weight high reps..and then justthe cardio i always do. then i have to change my equipment more often and every 4th week i can rotate back....i was building to much muscle(as if i could tell..lol) so now we are just working on burining this fat off..anywho, gotta go make turkey sausage and onions and peppers and throw some pineapples in the side...toodles

Hey Heather, it is hard to cut out the junk when you are allowed to eat some...that is why I am not allowed at all. I have terrible will power. If I have a little, it will lead to a whole bag. I am an all or nothing kind of gal. Either I have the whole bag of chips, or none at all.

What really helps me is not allowing myself to eat passed 7pm period. Between 6pm and 7pm is when your metabolism starts slowing down for the night for sleep mode...it does not burn up your caolories as fast. Will that help you? If you do not eat all of your alotted food by that time do you stop?

WAHOOOO TAH! Fantasctic. Well, I am back on track with my eating. I am back at my 25lbs lost. I am glad to see I haven't gained this whole time being sick...there were a couple of days I was living off of crackers cause that is all I could stomach. I only have 4.6 lbs left to lose this month. If I had been fine last week, I think I would have been at a better point...but alas I was. Oh well. I am looking foward to what this next week brings.

Well i managed to lose .8. I am happy to have lost but not happy about the way I followed the ww plan last week. I did follow the plan by eating the healthy things you have to eat like water intake, fruits and veggies, dairy and oil. Still struggling to get my supplements and vitamins in. And still struggling with eating crap after I get my healthy stuff in. I stay within my points but need to stop eating so much crap. I did pretty good today. I had my husband give the kids their before dinner snack so I would not be tempted to pick. Hopefully I can keep this up the rest of the week.

To your other post I absolutely agree with that. I also think my stress is making it worse. I can't wait for better weather so I can walk at lunch. Walking always seems to help with stress.

I did lose another 1.2 lbs this am! i hav made my 25 lbs mark...it is actually 25.4! So happy...only 7.5lbs to go to hit my halfway point...I am so pumped!
