Marina sometimes that can be so frustrating. Stay positive. How's your salt intake? I notice when I have a little too much I get swollen all over and will have a gain.



One thing that helps me lose is drinking tea everyday. I will drink green tea or a green/white tea blend. Always with honey too. Also around this time of year the antioxidents in the tea and the antibiotic properties in the honey help colds go away faster or just keep them away all together. Are you eating any fats? Believe it or not eating healthy fats helps you lose weight. All you need is 2 teaspoons of olive oil, sunflower oil, safflower oil, grape seed oil. or canola oil everyday. I find it easiest to put it in my favorite ff salad dressing.

Marina as far as traveling and eating your plan sounds great. In the event you are stuck with fast food, order a garden salad w/ ff dressing. If you're afraid they might not have ff or lf buy your own before you hit the road. Also, Subway offers veg. sandwiches. so you could get a 6" with 1 slice of cheese. That's all I can think of.

Yay Marina!!! Fantastic! I am so happy for you. Breaking through a plateau is such a wonderful feeling. Keep up the hard work as it is surely paying off.

You will get back on track, just think of Thanksgiving as a great reward! Periods are not great when trying to get going, the hormones realy work against us.

So, this will probably be my last entry before I leave tonight. I might be able to check in every now and again to give a progress update. Just wish me well, and control over myself. Nothing like a road trip and wanting to eat junk food to fuck up everything I have done...even though I have not been losing weight, I don't want to gain and struggle more.

Ugh Heather, I know that feeling well. I got my period late last night ( just wonderful to start a whole trip getting your period...fucking yiippee!). So I thought I would see a change today...yup...gained 1.6lbs. I know it is water weight, but doesn't make me feel good. Pissing me off.

Sorry to hear you are struggling. I am doing terrible. Eating like crazy. I am exhausted and only feel like eating. Not really wanting junk just wanting food. The way I feel right now I really don't think I will be able to pull out of it until after I get my period. I will try my best to not give in to cravings but that's all I can do. So difficult...

Still no loss. I am gonna be a complaining mess until I lose something. For crying out loud, day 11. Gained 0.2 instead of a loss. This is getting old, and frustrating.

I think mine is too! But, it does not help that I haven't lost anything....or been fluctuating for 10 whole days now. Grrrrr....really was expecting a weight loss this am. What a disappointment.

I am sure once you get back on ww, you will lose that quickly!

Took a 2 mile walk yesterday, and did 100 crunches. Back down the 0.6lbs. Just keep fluctuating that constantly. What a drag.

I am ok on my salt intake, and I try to drink lots of water. My salad dressing has oil in it, and I stay away from fat free, cause I don't like the chemicals that are put in its place. i have also learned, it may be fat free on the bottle, but it turns to fat when your body digests it.

Great advice on the tea, I might just have to pick some up today at the store.

Ok, so I have magically lost the 0.6 that I put on yesterday, but I realized this morning I have been fluctuating within the same pound for about 8 days now. I should be working past this pretty soon I am hoping.

Well, I think I have successfully pushed my body into starvation mode. I gained back 0.6 lbs for no apparent reason. This is really frustrating. I am afraid to eat even my veggies. But I know I need to incorporate more food. I really have been skimping on meals. I know what I have to do, but it is hard.

Did not gain like I thought I was going to again, not from eating unhealthy, just how it seems to go. Infact, I did lose 0.2 lbs....total loss so far this month 4.2lbs.

Alright, so I lost another lbs, so really I am back to where I was this weekend...by default again. Yesterday I had a PTA meeting, and did not have a chance to eat dinner....had my niece and nephew to pick up from school, and my son. I literaly ran out of time. Unfortunately, I will probably gain it again tomorrow after eating my normal diet meals today.

Well, this weekend, I really was not eating enough. I wonder if I lost it all, and shut my body down by putting it into starvation mode???? Not sure. But I am eating enough now, and I guess that is why I gained. I don't know. It just always seems like I lose, and gain some back for no real reason.

Ok, so I lost all that weight....and guess what??? I gained some back....infact 1.2lbs. Don't ask me how, I have been eating wicked good. I fucking hate when my body does this. It is totally discouraging. I would rather lose the weight, and plateau for a week than have all my hard work feel like it was for nothing.

I was also thinking about subway, and just asking them to do a veggie sub in a bowl! LOL, I have driven cross country so many times, and subways are EVERYWHERE! I would try to avoid the bread. Thanks for the advice! And I know you will get back on track! If I can you can!

Marina thats great to hear!

Me on the other hand not the greatest and not the worst. We shall see tomorrow at weigh-in. All my food choices were made consciously. I just try not to over do it too much. 3day weekends are a killer but I like to enjoy myself and have a good time. Will get back on track tomorrow or Tuesday and behave till the next one. Well the next one is Veteran's Day so I will be good for that one because Thanksgiving is just after that and I'd much rather splurge for that.

So, I am really proud of myself. i did not eat one bad thing yesterday at the cranberry festival! And they had A LOT of enticing food. YAY for me! I also lost 0.6 more lbs today, so I am back at my 40lbs lost mark! Technically I am at 40.2 I am so thankful I did well yesterday! How is everyone else doing?

I don't know if I said this already, but my mom is moving out here from Minnesota, her house closes oon the 21st of Oct. I am flying out to help them drive out! THAT is gonna be hard, on the road and eating healthy. If I keep going strong, it will give me the strength to do well! She is gonna pick up lots of apples, grapes, bananas, fiber one bars, amd I figure at the truck stops I will have a yogurt and cheese sticks. They always sell that stuff there. I will choose that instead of Mcdonalds or other fast food places. Anyone else have suggestions??? This is gonna be a long 4 day trip....I am gonna be driving a truck solo....

Ok, so I lost another 1 lbs today! YIPPEE! I am going to be good today at the cranberry harvest if it KILLS me! I have 1 more lbs to go to get back to where I was......Then i will be back at my 40 lbs loss! BUT, I have been down with a cold....and not eating much because of it. Hopefully now that I am starting to feel better, I can keep this weight off and not gain it back!

Tomorrow is going to be difficult. We are going to the cranberry festival, which of course has lots of yummy food. Gotta make sure I eat before we go, and make sure to bring healthy snacks.

Finally lost some weight. Yesterday I lost 0.4, and today I lost 1.6.....total weight loss since the beginning of this month is 2.6lbs. Glad I finally broke my plateau.
