I just wanted to know if there were any other AVON representatives that are members of the Circle of Moms. Feel free to ask any questions you may have about AVON or just to say hello.

I started about three months ago, I began walking my neighborhood introducing myself an offering books with my information on them. I got about 13 regulars but the neighborhood is 196 houses.

I then began emailing friends and offering them the Avon opportunity and now I have 14 representatives. Some things others do work and then again you have to find out what works for you.

Avon is EVERYWHERE I am all the time! I have extra books in my car, I go into a store with an Avon bag with books, I even put Avon books on my families restaurant table when we go out to eat. My kids take books for their friends as well as teachers and its my email signature, my google chat custom message. Its everywhere literally.

All the best to you, I love Avon and their products!

Hi Tamica,

I'm an Avon rep in Colorado, and have been selling since. Aug 2010.

Fo rthose looking for more customers, take a friend with you, or team up with another rep in your area, and go door to door. Knock on doors and ask if they would like an Avon brochure, or if they would like to earn extra money this year. If you don't take rejection well, make a game out of it. Play with your friend to see who can get 100 "no"'s the quickest. then thank the people when they say no. It throws them off, and they may even change their mind. The key is to get all your no's now, before it's hard for people to say no.

I'm a Unit Leader! I love it! I have recently discovered eParties!!! Open House parties have been working out really well for me. My very first sale was an Open House and I put flyers on doors to invite people to my party and I handed out about 80 and only got about 10 customers, but that was MORE THAN ENOUGH! That was about all I could pay attention to at once and I had a sale of almost $500! it was great! My next party got me 10 more customers but my sale wasn't as big. Since then I started working on eParties. I think its great bc you get someone to host it, they send invites to everyone they know, this allows you to reach customers you may have not otherwise been able to reach... its great for me bc I am in the Coast Guard so all my friends are from all over the country so they have contacts all over the country so I get a wide range of new internet customers! And then I ask them to host an eParty and I get even more customers! I offer my hosts a percentage of my profit from their sale, I then turn this into my recruiting pitch in getting them to become a rep. I tell them how much they made, how much I made and tell them that the entire profit could have been theirs... and it still can be. I make a deal with them that if they sign up then the original customers that I gained from their party I will not attempt to contact again, and that way they can have a starting customer base... however, if they tell them they are selling now and they continue to use my site, that's not my fault, I'm not going to turn away a customer. But its great! try it!

For anyone looking for that extra income or if you are unemployed or disabled,AVON can be the right profession for you.
I started selling AVON 2 months ago and really enjoy the extra income that I have made.
I previously had a truckdriving job,but was hurt on the job. So I turned to AVON to help me through the tough times.
To get new customers, I usually bag up the brochure in the door hanger bag. I slide the book in sideways and tuck the leftover bag inside the pages of the book. Then add a piece of tape to hold the book together. I've recently gained 8 customers in the last campaign by tossing books.
Anyways,if anyone out there is interested in buying or selling AVON, please go to the following websites.
To start your own AVON business go to : www.start.youravon.com and use ref code bwolverton.
To purchase AVON go to my website at www.youravon.com/bwolverton.
I really appreciate any ideas or help anyone can offer me. I really would like this AVON business to do well so any ideas would be helpful.
Please visit my websites if interested. Or email me at busyb76230@yahoo.com with any questions.

I am a mother of two with an opportunity for people who need additional income. Avon, I started selling Avon because my husband became ill and we suddenly after insurance had $100,000 hospital bill. I began trying to work part-time jobs along with my full-time jobs to only tire myself out. Then, I was greeting with an opportunity that seemingly would provide me with additional income and the freedom to work as little or as much as I wanted. I becan telling myself that I wanted $200.00 extra dollars to pay the payment arrangement we made with the hospital. Then, I began to say that I ccould payout credit cards with the additional money that I was receiving.

Avon, has provided me the excitement to empower myself to become my own boss and set my own rules about the life that I want. I have been selling Avon for three months and now I have found others interested in Avon enough to sell it with me. So, I began posted ads like these on some of my bloggin sites and would like to continue to share my story. This could have been a situation that disabled my family by creating situations that were not so friendly in the real world. Needing and extra $200.00 a month was impossible for me and my husband because we did not have extra money after all of the bills were paid.

Avon can be your solution, the starting fee to sell Avon is $10.00. This is and will always be the best $10.00 that I have ever spent. My husband and kids also partnered with me to help me sell Avon-its a family business that helped to make us stronger and more connected in others ways and my kids are learning valuable lessons by my husband and I paving the way.

Let Avon provided you the same opportunity....take the link below to watch a video and make the decision for yourself.

If you would like to sign up for Avon, please go to www.startavon.com and my name (chanteaseaswain) is the code word.

Hi Samantha! Welcome to Avon! Avon is a great business! There's so many opportunties out there for Avon Reps to earn an unlimited amount of income. I found that recruitng is a great opportunity to promote yourself. I just did my first job fair recruiting new Avon Reps and I was really blessed with a lot of exposure. I started with Avon August 2012 and just recently got promoted to Unit Leader. I now have 15 new Avon Reps and counting! Just received 57 additional leads from the job fair. I recommend all Avon Reps try the job fairs. If you are not comfortable doing it alone, contact your District Manager, they would be glad to assist you in this

Best wishes to you!

Hi Tamica

I have been selling AVON for over 7 (just about 8) years now part time (since I have a full time job) and enjoy it very much. I haven't really had the desire to build my leadership side as of yet. But I tell you I meet new clients daily.

I heard Vistaprint.com is a good source...where you can get cards for really extra cheap. I usually go to Town & Country, they have a partnership with Avon. You can go to youravon.com and click on the Avon Advantage partners button on the home page which will take you right there.

Thank you! That's really great to hear. I've been trying to hit more yard sales this summer...it's a lot of fun and definitely my favorite way to find customers:) I find that where and how you network is a important way to determine the direction in which to steer your business. Over the time I've sold Avon I learned that it helps to choose the districts in which you want to build your business and network...which gives you a certain amount of control over how successful you can be. And I love wearing Avon's accessories and clothes, I buy them every opportunity I have, especially when I get big orders:)))

That is a really great idea Deborah. Thanks! I have been selling Avon for 3 years now but I never though about going to yard sales. I do use the products, carry the bags and wear the jewelry, which is an excellent sales tool.

The best way I have found to get new customers is focus on what you think they might like...by the clothes and makeup they wear. It also helps to wear Avon's jewelry or any of their accessories that gets you compliments from people...a great conversation starter. Take brochures any where you go, when you run errands, go to see family or friends, parties, etc. My favorite way to find customers is going to yard sales - when the weather's nice and if you're a bargain shopper (like me) and love to be outside on beautiful days, that's how I love to kill time:) If you have any questions feel free to contact me any time, and good luck to you!

That would be me! Hi Tamica and all the others! I have sold for dozens of other direct selling companies and for Avon 3 times in the past 20 years. Most recently, I have been back for two years. I made PC this past year and became a Unit Leader. I have approximately 40 people in my down line. It has slowed down a lot lately. I will say I have been watching the news closely with the problems the company has been having lately. It is scary and you never know what can happen. I have been with two other companies who filed Bankruptcy... both times I lost out money and other incentives I had earned. I chose to finally really pursue Avon because I felt that they were the safest company out there. It just goes to show you that you are never totally secure.

I don't want to kill anyone's ambition. Unfortunately for me, AVON was not a good choice or maybe I was doing something wrong. I went through all the online courses etc, had good sales and loved selling in general. My problems started to come about when customers where afraid to pay before receiving their items. With items being on backorder and out of stock etc. I had to give out refunds and things like that. People were feeling like if they paid their money, they should get their stuff or their money back. I will probably try it again later but for now, I just buy. Anybody in St. Louis that needs a new customer?

It doesn't help that I'm a shy person either. However, I do love doing this, I'm just hoping to get more customers. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
