We are Comfort Specialists and do home parties for womens clothes, sizes XS to 3X. You can be as busy as you want to as you're the one setting your schedule. I am also an Arbonne Consultant but what most ladies are forgetting to tell you is that we dont have inventory! Our stuff we show is our personal stuff we use or have for testers! You never have to hunt people down to reorder they can do it them selves and all thier products are shipped to their door!!! Its a great company with a great compensation plan! A great one to look at is FHTM (Fortune Hi-Tech Marketing) for their Canadian division. I hear it is exploding like crazy up there! You have some great opportunities to offer people products & services THEY USE ANYWAY! It's great, because these things are recession proof (i.e. cell service, home phone, DISH TV, internet services, etc) whereas many other direct selling products are the first things that get cut out of a family's budget when money gets tight. Hi Kari!  Wow, you've rec'd a lot of comments!  But again, I would recommend Arbonne International!  Like Shannon, below, mentioned - Arbonne is a botanically based skin care/ health & wellness company.  The products are formulated in Switzerland w/ the higher European standards and then produced in the US.  With the tough economic times, some home businesses are harder than others - people are more discriminate on their purchasing of "extras" or "non-essentials".  I love Arbonne because it is safe & pure (vegan and mostly organic) - also everyone washes their face and shampoos their hair!

Hi Kari - If I were in Canada I would definatley research the Quixtar business. I have a big business in the states and would love to sponsor you in Canada. But instead I think it would be easier for you to be mentored by someone local to you. I can recommend a few very reputable business associates that would help you launch and build your business.
