I tried Plentyoffish.com It was a free website. I didn't really want to meet anyone in a bar. Met some pretty cool people. Its hard though, since I put my kids first. I figured out that I really don't have time for dating anyway. Although it sucks being lonely, filling your time devoted to your children can be fulfilling. I think I will settle down after they are grown a little more.

It can be fun and it is just the newest way .... I follow my instincts and I don't second guess them ... I hope that way I weed out the unimportant ....etc etc etc --- i keep my kid away from such things including dating any kind of dating .... u know, my kid needs not be involved in the drama ... my kid is a blessing like all of yours and we need to keep them safe and believing in LOve --- Good Luck !

I wanted to go the online dating route, just because it is so hard for me to meet people. I just dont have the time between being a mom, going to school and working. Not to mention I really cant afford to pay each month for something like that. Let me know how it goes though, I might just have to go ahead and try it out....

I'm actually doing eHarmony and it seems a lot safer to do than other dating sites....So far I'm chatting with 2 guys via eHarmony email(not through my personal email)....so far so good....when I actually go on a date I'll keep you ladies posted....if you ladies have any questions about eHarmony feel free to ask so you will know what you are paying for (heck, I'm already paying for it so I might as well save you the trouble).. :)

I have set up a profile but I have not gotten really serious with it. I think I am going to delete my profile and do it the old fashion way...... Maybe LOL
