I checked out the website for multilingual children and immediately saved it to my favorites. Thanks!

Hello, My name is Rebeca Monds. I live in Houston, Tx. My daughter is 2 1/2 and totally fluent in Spanish and English. I did not want her to say a spanish word here and there. I wanted to have conversations w/ her. My husband does not speak Spanish, so, that was a challenge. I was searching for ideas, because I did not how to rise her to be totally bilingual. I found a wonderful website that help me to do it.

Check it out, and really!! Follow what they say!! It works!! It takes discipline, but it is totally worth it. http://multilingualchildren.org/

My child isn't born yet and I talk to her in both English and Spanish. Trying to train myself to speak both languages to her. Have you tried reading to him in Spanish? As a child I taught myself to read Spanish by reading the bible in Spanish. Oh, and you can't go wrong with playing Spanish children's music. Good luck.
