when my son went through his colicy phase the best things that worked for me was a car drive, a bath with lavender/chamomille body wash then lotion, and also rubbing lavender oil with lotion on his stomach in a circular motion! i did this everyday, everytime he started getting fussy and he was over it in three weeks!

Oh yea I forgot another thing that worked, that many of us mothers in my family have done is getting lard and baking power mixed together as a paste. Put in around the baby's belly button area seemed to help also.

I also had problems with my daughter being a colicky baby. She is now 15 years old. My mother-in-law suggested one day to give her a pinch of salt, believe it or not it works. Helped me get some sleep at night. You can also give your baby chamomile, slightly boiled, do not make it to strong. My daughter always drank it and it worked.

I share your pain, my almost 2 month old baby boy is colicky and I am going nuts with that, I try giving him a massage with baby oil, a tiny bit warm and it seems to help, but everybody tells me to be patient that it will pass after 3 or 4 months, it is easy to say right???

I know what your going through if the baby is a newborn it might be the formula. My oldest had to drink soy milk. She was prescribed Nursoy formula. Believe it or not my mother-in-law suggested orange tea with honey and it helped. Oh I forgot get advice from the any woman over 70 years old those home remedies work.
