You know I think that if he doesn't want anything to do with her then let it be. Does she know him? If not then it's better that way. He had no right to her and when she get of age she will know what her biological father did to her. In the end he will be the who has lost, Lost the chance to be a father to a Beautiful gift from God a true blessing that only few are lucky to have!! I hope everythin goes good for you and your baby girl. Trust in the Lord, he will Prevail!! God Bless

I agree w/ Liza. It sucks that they can't be forced to be fathers, because in the long run that's what really matters. God bless & gd luck!!!

I feel as long as you are doing this for sole reason of your daughter's best interest I say yes. I tell my kids, who are all teens, there is nothing I wouldnt do to protect them or provide for them. If you dont speak up for your daughter than who will? Its too bad though that this will only be monetary and we cant force him to be a "dad" cause that is what she will be missing out on and will probably be most effective by. Good luck and stand strong you will be in our prayers.
