As long as the baby's ok don't worry about it. It definitely happens to everyone. My youngest recently rolled off the couch while I was tying my older one's shoes. Quick second and that's what happens. My oldest one is clumsy and falls up the steps (he's 3) all the time. Kids fall, as long as you are doing what ever you can to keep them safe I wouldn't stress over it.

My baby fell out of his high chair around 8 months old... i didn't buckle him in that time and i only turn away for one second. It happens to alot of moms. You are not a bad mom!

Did your baby get hurt? where did the baby fall from? if so did you take him/her to the ER? if the baby is ok, then you shouldn't feel bad, babies will fall, trip, bump their heads, we mums just have to keep 100 eyes on them, when you turn for a fraction of a sec. it happens. so just be alert, and don't blame yourself, i know it plays on your head over and over, but accidents happen. Take care.

My son fell off the bed at that age, and I felt terrible too. But it happens to everyone! After he fell I felt so bad and talked to various friends and they all had a similar story. As long as you have checked out baby and have no reason to be concerned, try not to worry about it! Babies are tougher than we think they are.

It happens to everyone. But like you said, we don't like to admit it because it does make us feel terrible. But it also depends on how far the baby fell and how the baby landed. So it it amkes you feel better, go to your pediatrician, and have the baby checked just in case. I have seen very little ones in casts, so I will not say 'the baby will be OK' because there are always exceptions to the rules and I always find myself as that exception.
Because that is my case, I have learned to work around it. If I put my baby on the bed, he sometimes falls asleep on the sofa and other places, I make sure that I am either always near by, on the same piecce of furniture or I put a couple layers of pillows on the floor around him.

Many babies fall. My son rolled off our bed when he was about 10 months old. I felt very bad too. All that matters is that your baby is okay.
Hope this makes you feel a bit better.
