can the father of your baby take your new born away from you if he takes you to court for shared custody (50/50) could he?

if a Unwed couple has a baby the mother has custody until something is put in writing stating otherwise. Shared custody may mean the father does not have to pay child support so be careful :)

I dont think he can. The reason that separated parents go to court is to protect that relationship with the baby. He cannot take the baby away, lets say to a vaction without your consent. The whole definition of 50/50 custody is for you guys to communicate and decide things together. Unless he has a reason and evidence to show in court he cannot do anything.
