What is everyone doing for the big 5? Small house party, family only party, big blow out? I am planning to do my son's 5th birthday at Pump It Up. Is a brand new indoor playground and play place full of huge inflatable party zone. The theme is Super Mario Bros.

Really Regina Purdy. It's awesome right. I'm doing it at Pump It Up on March 18th. I'm so excited. We have everything. All we need is the goodie bags lol. We also going to make our own food. Their food is too expensive. He's is def excited.Aww I hope your daughter have an awesome time. lol I don't mind doing parties. When I did my sons first birthday we spend so much money but he was so small. Now he's getting bigger so I don't really mind the money spend.

I know what you mean. I did my son's first birthday spend about 800 dollars and only 10 people came from my FH side of the family. We invited about 35 guest from his side and 35 of my side and 3 people didn't show on my side. I was so frustrated and pissed off. I would never invited them ever again. My FH family threw a baby shower from his side and one from side. So the family never met I thought my son's birthday could bring both family together but I thought wrong. My FH then told me that it was too early and out of no where the family got sick.

I was so upset next thing I found out FH threw a graduation party the same place we did my son's party at the same time and all my FH side of the family was there. OMG I was even more pissed. I then figure my FH side of the family don't have an interest of my side of the family or even my son. I was so heartbroken. Anyway since then I have been doing small parties for my son in the house with only a few people and only my side of the family.

That is so awesome 25 dollars an hour is not bad. That is definitely going to make your daughter very happy. I'm sure your daughter will enjoy her day with all her friends.

Neither mine or my husband's family have any interest in coming to a birthday party for my daughter, but she's very social and has lots of friends. In the past we have done a small party at the house, but I end up getting frustrated with people cancelling last minute and me quickly going down my daughter's list to the next person and inviting them last minute. This year, I found a local church that rents out their gymnasium for only $25 an hour for up to 50 people, so I told my daughter she could invite everyone from both preschools she goes to, as well as gymnastics, soccer and all her friends from my mom's group. This way I don't have to worry about the numbers or any of my daughter's friends being left out. Of course, I don't plan to do this every year.

I hear you lol. I did my son's first birthday party and we spend a lot of money for nothing. Over the years we only invited close family. This year my FH and I went all out. We only invited 3 kids from our son's school. Aww happy birthday to your daughter. Yup 5 years pass by so quickly. It amazes me.

lol Bieber fever lol I had a little fever a little bit. Aww thank you it's OK. I really appreciate it. Umm supposedly online it say the items comes today which I'm still waiting on them. I can't wait to receive it. This week I'm ordering the cake. I also need to make the cake topper. I know the ordering online could be a pain but also a good thing. Thanks for everything! XOXO

My daughter just wants a party, she isn't fussed as long as there is cake and pressies. It's great as I don't need to worry too much on what to get. But I am doing a MLP cake for her. But it's not huge, family and family friends with children. No one from school was invited as we don't have lots of money to spend on it. I've been stocking up on non perishables for a few weeks now, so we will have enough to go around! But definitely looking forward to it, it's this sat! Where have the past 5 yrs gone! Seems like yesterday she was born!

Dilemma is it said it takes 2 to 3 days and then when FH click purchase now it said could take anywhere to March 15 ugh.
