2nd pregnancy

Hi, I am in a similar situation. My son will be 2 in March and I am 25 weeks along with my second pregnancy.
I found that my 2nd pregnancy is completely opposite from my first. Its easier in the fact that I know what to expect, and my body seems to be responding better to pregnancy the 2nd time around (less back pain, no headaches, etc.) . Its worse when dealing pregnancy exhaustion, since there is a very active toddler to keep up with. A two year old doesn't want to hear that mommy can't toss him up in the air or crawl around on the floor with him, but I just don't have the stamina to do that. So I guess its both better and worse, depends how you look at it.

hi i am also expecting my 2nd child in may this year and have a 2 yr old too, i am finding this pregnancy easier as i know what to expect this time round. although i am more tired but that is to be expected with a very active toddler around. so just rest when u can and enjoy the time you have before life changes x

Every pregnancy is different. My second pregnancy was very difficult (ill for 22 weeks) and I was exhausted for most of it. However, my third was pretty easy. I am now pregnant with #4 and it is, sadly, a bit like my second pregnancy although I am starting to feel better as of about a week ago (I'm 20.5 weeks now). I have felt the signs of pregnancy (and fetal movement) earlier with every pregnancy.

The labor & delivery of #2 was MUCH easier than #1...and #3 took longer than #1 & #2 combined. Honestly, there is just no telling! Try to get as much rest as you can :).

every pregnancy is different i think!my oldest is 10 it was a nitemare but then my second was ok n well sailed thru 3rd kacey-leigh just didnt have any problems.even now thats her 2 on 22nd march n she is so easy going.

Hello Richelle,

I have had 3 pregnancies and i have to say its harder, i say this only beacuse you dont get as much rest and sometimes when you really need a sleep you cant have one because you have another little one to look after. I found that i enjoyed my 2nd pregnancy more because i knew what to expect. I felt movements sooner and it was so exciting. i found labour way easier because i knew what i was doing. so in many ways it was better the my first pregnancy but worse becasue i had to look after another child, but you have a good gap seeing your first child is almost 2. my son was 8months old when i fell pregnant the second time.
