Not sure if your son is still having issues but my almost 4 year old tells me he gets scared when he sees the lights from cars driving down the street shine on the ceiling, so we put up curtains that block the light and he seems to sleep better.

Glad to see Im not the only one that has a 3 year old sleeping my bed! Mine tells me the monster is there as she points to the ceiling light. I've sat in there with her in the complete dark and even with a night light on. With me in there she was still screaming. She will play in there all day but wont sleep, not even a afternoon nap.

My daughter did the same thing! She was terrified of the window in her room...she won't even play in there alone, and i've always had a weird feeling when i going there.,,,,we just recently moved her bed into our room to see if it helps, she seems to not be so scared now but, i think it might be a phase?? i would just make him feel safe as much as you can....even if it means moving his bed...until he can more fully understand

My son is doing the exact same thing. We have tried putting glowing stars in his room and playing music. He is terrified of his closet. Told me Joan lives in there... spooky. I normally move him, but as soon as he wakes up in the night to go potty he is back in my bed. If you find a solution please let me know.

I can get my daughter to sleep in her room. But only for a few hours and the rest of the night she is in bed with me. My husband(her father) thinks its just a phase she will grow out of. I sure hope so and it happens soon!
