My husband and I threw our son's birthday party on the 14th. Our son's birthday is not until the 28th, but the 14th was the only time we could really do it. We went to a restaurant, the same one we went to last year. There was a buffet of sandwiches, chicken and salad. We had a Handy Manny theme. I made our son's birthday cake, just a simple sheet cake made up to look like Handy Manny's store sign. Everyone seemed to have a good time, and Blake got a lot of really nice gifts. So my question is...how did all the other birthdays go?

I'm new here, but we just had a birthday party on the 14th too. My daughter has been saying for MONTHS that she wanted to ride a pony for her birthday ("Lucy ride pony on Lucy birthday, and eat pizza!"). This came after we went to a little kiddie amusement park for a friend's birthday. So we took her back there, rode the pony (many times), and the other rides too, had cake, and everyone had a blast! The only upset was when it was time to leave, but we saved present opening til we got home, so it gave her something else fun and exciting to think about.

My son turned 2 on Sunday, we had his party on Saturday. We had everyone over for lunch then presents and cake. It was great. He got lots of good stuff. His favorite gift is his little tikes coupe police car :)

Well, my daughter just turned 2 yesterday. We had a family only party on Sun. and took her to dinner last night. My problem is that her cousin turns 1 today and is having her party on Saturday so we have to have my daughter's party (with her friends) in April. I am afraid of the confusion of too many parties.
