I just found out yesterday, that Walmart is planning on doing away with their generic diapers, like "White Cloud". There is a $7 difference and they are just as good. If anyone out there uses this type, I am asking that you email Walmart and let them know that you are opposed to them doing away with their "White Cloud" brand. I am a single mother and $7 a week is a gallon of milk and a loaf of bread. I really cant afford to pay more for something that is the same level of quality.

Target brand is great and especially for babies at Babie R Us / Toys R Us are not bad either - but only when they are on sale or have a coupon special.

I tried Parents Choice and they were really cheap quality. Luvs are good but still kind of expensive compared to generics. I recently bought Target brand and they are pretty good (only used for 2 days so far).
I am using Pampers at night because ,my son sleeps 13-14 hours straight and others seem to leak. I have heard of using a cloth diaper over a disposable diaper at night to help with the leaking. I may give that a try.

I called white cloud last week. they no longer make them. he told me not enough peaple were buying them. he also told me parents choice is part of thier company also and are now in the process of upgrading their diapers.I just bought the parents choice and they are not as good. does not fit her right and her clothing is wet every time.I am calling parents choice to let them know the diaper leaks and is not as good quality as white cloud, other moms I know had the same problems to.

When my older kids were younger, I used the Target brand and had no problem with them.  WIth my little one, I only use Pampers. At my baby shower I got other brands(luvs, parents choice and huggies) but I didn't like those.    I would try Target brand first.    Good Luck!!

Totally agree with you.  I am very disappointed that Walmart is doing away with "White Cloud". I never had leakage problems with White Cloud, now I am stuck having to use other brands. I have tried Target brands, totally will not go with them again. Leaking all the time, constantly changing clothes. And I am always changing my daughter diapers, but they just hold as well as White Cloud.  I bought a box of Parents Choice and found the same problem, leaking. Now I am unsure of where to go now. I've heard Luvs are good, maybe thats the next cheapest route. Again very disappointed in Walmarts decision.

I totally agree with you! I to used the White Cloud diapers for my twins, and I found them to be the best of all store brands that I tried. Our local Walmart is keeping their Parents Choice diapers, but they are really too cheap for me. I do not like the way they are made. I have discovered that LUVS is pretty good, and about a $1 more than the White Cloud brand was. I'm also trying out the Target store brand to see if they compare.
