How many bubs have been started on meat? I planned to have my son started at least a month ago but im not sure how to go about it....

I cut up tiny pieces of turkey and chicken that I know my son can gum/chew. He has had the meat jar food (mixed with veggies..the plain ones are gross!) since about 5 months.

Keegan has been eating the veggie/meat purees for a while now. Yes I agree with Katey the chicken and broccoli smells awful. I've also added tiny bits of roast chicken in the blender with veggies when we have a sunday dinner and he loves that. Oh and when we first started with the thicker purees I had to mush it a little with a fork.

We just started actually on Thanksgiving. I gave my son just a jar of a turkey rice puree and he ate it no problem. So far we've had vegetable beef and broccoli chicken (I warn you that smells so bad) and also a chicken vegetable puree. I can't bring myself to buy the Gerber meat only purees because they just look horrible to me. I would say just give it a whirl and see how it goes, but remember it can take several tries to get baby to like a new food!
