my son has a nasty cold right now and is wanting to nap more often through the day. He's still sleeping fairly well at night, not really waking up just crying in his sleep cause he can't breath or get comfy. I know when I am sick I want to nap. I just don't want to have him get completely off schedule.

My daughter is going through the same thing right now and has before. She is very congested and cant breathe well especially at nights. She usually only takes one nap a day but lately she has been sleeping most of the day and is up quite a bit throughout the night. I just let her sleep through the day because she needs her rest to get better and if I am tired then I take a nap while she is. As soon as she was better the last time, she got right back into normal schedule. I wouldnt worry about it too much, the little guy just doesnt feel well and is catching up on some needed rest! Hope this helps you and hope your son gets better soon!
