Temper Tantrums

Is anyone's 14 month old throwing lots of temper tantrums? And how do you deal with them? I think the terrible twos have arrived very early at our house.

My son likes to get his way and doesn't like not getting it! I understand! Our solution has been telling him,"No." and walking away. Sometimes that leads to him following us and hitting or biting witch leads to time out. Since we have become consistant with him they have become less and physical agression has pretty much stopped.

My son is throwing temper tantrums some times. If we are at home or someplace some what private I let him throw them and ignore him. If we are in public I take him to a corner and try to calm him down. If he starts screaming or crying loudly I take him to the car and make him sit out there with me. He is a total social butterfly and hates to not be with everybody so if he has to go to the car he usually calms down and acts good when we go back in. I also don't give into what he is throwing the tantrum about. I will say that he started tantrums around his 1st bday and I have had a headache ever since, but he is getting better about showing me what he wants instead of screaming and crying right away.
