Does he like cars? You can put blue painter's tape on the floor and make it a "road" and have him drive around the house. (Make sure it's on carpet though). My guy is an energizer bunny too...I just keep alternating busy activities with physical ones to tire him out. (turning on music and dancing, playing chase, crawling around like animals...hopping like bunnies, pretend to be in a marching band around the house). Or get a small swimming pool and fill it up with 100 little balls and make your own ball pit for him to go crazy in. That also can keep him busy for a whie.

I've recently been assisting my son in walking up the steps! I either hold his hand and help him that way, or let him crawl up on his own with me right behind him. I let him decide which way he wants to go up. It tires him out a bit and also gives him a sense of pride. Also, I don't know where you're from, but we just had a lot of snow fall here. I sent my son outside with my husband yesterday. It was his first time playing in the snow. When he came in, he ran around for a few minutes and then passed out for about three hours! If you live in a warmer climate, I have found that swimming has just about the same effect!
