ok we all know it! As moms we'd all like to be able to stop time, grow a few extra arms, put a magic spell on our husbands to get them to do everything we need but in reality, none of that's going to happen. So I ask you, what's your ultimate time management secret? How do you make the hours and tasks balance out as best you can and manage not to go postal on someone. Share your tips and ask your questions!

Personally, I find that I live and die by my calendar. I created a family one to share with my husband and our parents so that they always know what's going on in our lives. Google has amazing functionality so you can set privacy restrictions on what our parents can see (They really don't need to know about my gyno appointment) but they might need to know we're planning a trip out of town next week or we have a concert coming up we'd likely be asking one of them about babysitting our daughter. Since I started using this method our life is running much more smoothly because all the people that need to know about things, know about things and might I add we are certainly some busy people so it's hard to keep track!

So tell me, what's your secret?

I write all upcoming events on a calendar so I know when we are doing certain things and where we have to go for them. I also have a chore timetable so I can keep on top of housework a little bit each day and don't get overwhelmed with a thousand jobs all at once. I write a shopping list and a list of what we are having for dinner each night and stick it on the fridge so I know what I am cooking and so does hubby.
Really I try and be as organised as I can and know what I am doing the next day so I can prepare for what ever we are doing in advance

Organization! I have a pre-printed grocery list with all our frequently bought items and at the bottom I write our meals for the week. That way I (usually) don't end up with four bottles of spaghetti sauce but no pasta. I know I have the necessary ingredients and don't spend time wondering what's for dinner. Cuts down on trips to the grocery store and overbuying unnecessary things because I can't remember if I have it at home.
