My son just turned 9 mths on Christmas Day. He's been teething since he was 5 mths old. But until now no teeth to be seen... My friends told me that it's good for me as I'm still nursing him.

my son just got his first tooth at 8 months. they can go up to a year without teeth! teeth aren't a big deal.

My son is 9 months and he has no teeth either. My first son had teeth by now. Every child is different. Ask your pediatrician if you're really worried, they'll reassure you that it's fine.

My 9 1/2 month old girl still has no teeth, not even a sign that they are starting to come through. My other two children were 8 1/2 and 9 months when their first teeth erupted. I was toothless until 11 months apparently lol. I suggest having her checked out at 1 year of age if no teeth have come through by then.

6-9 months is the average for the first teeth, so no need to worries. at that is just an average, not all children are the same. And getting teeth earlier does not mean your child is more prone to tooth decay...tooth decay just depends on what they are eating. Bubs should not have added sugars to their foods and should never go to sleep with a bottle which is a horrible cause of bottle mouth (tooth caries). As long as they are on a proper diet for bubs then there should be no need to worry.:-)

My daughter just turned 9 months and no teeth here either! The pediatrician had said a while back that she has parents with children who are 18 months old wondering what to feed their child because they still have no teeth. I think that's the extreme but it proves that they all go at their own pace.

my daughter is 9 months today and she also still has no teeth. although the teeth have started pushing up they still ahve not made an appearnace. I heard that it can take up to 18 motnhs for babies to start teething. so I dont think you have anything to worry about.

My Daughter is now nine and half months old and there is still no sign of teeth i spoke to my plunket about it and she sd its very normal she just sd to give baby teething rusks or something hard to bite down on to try and break the gums so the teeth can come through its seems to be working and its also soothing her at the same time :-)

My son will be 10 months old in 2 weeks, still not a sign of teething. But, he only eats solid food, no baby food. So, I guess it doesn't even matter. None of my kids have gotten teeth until they were 9 months or older.

I've been told its better for babies teeth to come in later b/c if they come in too early they are more prone to tooth decay. A lot of babies dont get teeth till around a year. Any earlier is getting them early. (my daughter got hers early) Trust me , not having teeth in yet is good. Its healthier for baby and less biting :) . Baby teeth are really pointy and sharp!

i have 3 children and it seemed weird to me when my son who is my eldest got his at 6mths the my middle daughter got hers at 5mths but my youngest got her first at 3.5 mths and they just kept coming now at 9mths she has 10 teeth that i can count... every baby is different my cousin is now 15ths old and has only just started getting his teeth...

My daughter is 91/2 months. No teeth and not crawling. I know babies who didn't cut a tooth until they were one year. Don't stress. Its all normal. I'm sure they'll all get teeth soon.

Yep! My son got his first at almost 8 months and didn't get the second until 6 weeks later. My 5 year old got hers at 5 months and the second came the very next day. Since I am breastfeeding I am in no hurry! My daughter chewed me up several times before she got the hang of it! It was terrible. BTW, my baby eats very lumpy soft foods and chews very well. Besides, what could you even do about it? lol!

My son was 8 months before his first tooth started to cut. Some kids don't have any until 1 year old. Don't worry. It will happen and then you'll regret it. He bites my fingers because he's teething his other teeth.

Teeth aren't like any other milestone, they come at any age, usually between 3 mo and a year. I was just like u, it seemed like it took forever! My son FINALLY got his first one on thanksgiving, he was 8 & 1/2 mo. Then the second one came 2 weeks later. Your little one will probably get them soon!! : ) when I finally gave up feeling his gums, one poked through lol good luck!

It's normal some kids get them so late as close to their first birthday but by then they come in so quickly with fever added ... my daughter now has 3 she had her first t2o around 4 months now she is 9 months and she was a month early at birth ... each child grows different once they healthy and happy try not to worry

Hi.  Both of my boys were over 12 months before they got their first teeth.  This was a good thing because they had so many stacks while learning to walk but we had no broken teeth or bitten tongues etc.

I wouldn't worry about teeth. My daughter is 8 months now and no teeth and the Pediatrician doesn't think its a big deal. You just have to keep to mushy foods and encourage gnawing on teethers. The problem with getting teeth "late" is they tend to get several all at one time. Make sure you have cold teethers on hand along with some teething tablets and other holistic remedies.

my lil man is almost 9 months and every now and then you see what might be a tooth that might be popin threw and then the next day its gone... i have been told that if they dont get them b4 they are about 6-7 months it can take up to there first b-day to get them... on the bright side when he thinks he is going to bite me at least it doesnt hurt as much as it would if he had teeth LOL. He eats pretty much anyting you would think he needed teeth to eat as well and he still doesnt seem to have any problems eating without them... ill just call him my lil gummer untill he gets hes lil teeth i guess ♥... just wanted to let you know your not alone on the no teeth issue :)

No worries. My sons did not get teeth until ten months old. My daughter was four or five months old. The boys showed signs of teething when they were seven months but did not cut them through until later. My nine month old still no teeth. i am expecting them at ten months or later. It is normal for them to come in at different times and in different orders. Count your blessings, because the later they come in the less time for decay. Hope this eased your mind.

Hullo Kamille. hee hee don't worry. my 8 month old boy only got his first two at just over 8 months. alot of girls get teeth from 4 months of age, but honestly, you have up until 9 months for the first two.

My son is 9 months old and he has no teeth either! I'm not worried though because a lot of babies are like that; his daddy didn't start getting teeth until 11 months. Just think of it this way; you'll get to enjoy toothy smiles forever, but the toothless grin lasts only a short amount of time and we get to see it longer than most!!!

And it doesn't stop my son from eating everything either. He isn't on any baby food; he has cheerios, toast, chicken, grilled cheese, gerber puffs, gerber cheesie things, and a whole bunch of other food and he chews it with no problem! No mush at all for him aside from yogurt. I just thought I should add that in just in case you were wondering about food (and he has been eating these things since 6.5-7 months old).

My daughter is 8 months and 9days she also didn't have any teeth or evidence of them at 7 months but now she has the two bottom ones that have just broken through the gums. You will know when they get cranky, mine doesn't eat or sleep very much, mine had a fever, and she drools alot too.

My son(now 4 years) did not get teeth til 11 months, then they all came at once. My daughter started hers at 7months, so it can vary-no worries! They will come.

My daughter is 8.5 months old, still no teeth, I think they may come soon as she is trying to chew on everything and sometimes I can tell her mouth may be hurting. But I cant wait to see a little tooth pop thru!

Absolutely normal! Some babies don't get teeth until 12 months. Don't worry before you know your girl will be screaming in pain and teething on everything just like everyone else her age!
