Im not sure if he still needs it, but i noticed if i give my son a cold drink (in bottle or cup) he wont drink it right away, he will let it sit until its about room temp, so im still warming his milk and juice not to the point where its warm just to take the chill off. Is any one else still doing this?

Our soon-to-be 14 month old is exactly the same way, unless it's water. He does not like his milk cold, so every night and every morning when he gets his sippy cup of milk, we had to heat it. That's fine, no big deal for us. We are thrilled he's drinking it with such gusto!!! :-)

Well my son has a little temper.. if the milk is alittle cold, he will find a way to hit the bottle out of your hand..

I did until the weather started getting really hot and now I just warm them up at night for her so she will sleep better. I found that she would drink cold drinks only when it was really warm out.

My son seems to prefer his bottles (he only gets two a day now) warm, but his water/milk/juice cold. Some babies are more temperature sensitive than others, so it all depends on what he likes! :)

i still warm nat's bottles up. I was told the other day by a lady i work with she has a 15 month old. She said that what she did was warm it up for 30 seconds. then every other time you give your child the bottle warm it up 5 seonds less. she said it worked great, i have not tried it yet. most of the time we give it to her cold and let her decide when she wants it.

Yeah i still ave to warm my sons milk up, he will just spit it out if its cold or room temp! but he will drink juice cold...

I guess I am just really lucky, cause even as a newborn my son has never cared about the temperature, hot, warm, cold, on ice... he'll take it any which way! He is now 11 months and is still the same, He just wants the bottle or sippy cup in his mouth and we are good to go.

Definately, I do the same, I always warm up my son's drinks a bit, and he is 11 mo old. He won't drink milk unless it is warmed up just a tad.

I have a son who is the same way. He wont drink anything thats to cold or to warm. So when i give him some juice, i'll put a little of warm water into it and then some old juice with it, too!!

i heat my daughters millk up, shes on cows milk so its straight out of the fridge, when she was on formula i had her drink it at room temperature.

I do the same to my own drinks! I sometime microwave my juice, I can drink it easier. He is probably the same. Plus, when they are real small, a cold drink can make them cold. I heated my big kids drinks for a long time, like two years or so, but my last two have been breast fed, so there's was already warm!

dont worry some babies just dont like cold drinks, im still warming up my sons milk and he's 11 months old,also i have a 12 and a half year old and he was exactly the same when little had to have his drink warmed up a bit so not cold.
