hi everyone
my daughter is 9 months old and i have been diagnosed with post natal depression. my doctor would like to put me on anti depressants and she assures me that they are fine to take while breastfeeding..
what is everyone elses thoughts on this or has anyone out there been on anti depressants and breast fed?

I can't say that I have been in the same postion but I am a strong advocate of taking care of yourself before you can take care of others. If you are feeling depressed, your daughter will pick up on that. I use working out, some woman do scrapbooking and I know lots who are on antdepression medication. If your doctor says its safe I say take them so you can be the best mom possible.
