I agree with the other ladies that it is probably braxton hicks contractions. If it is they should stop if you change positions, walk, sit down, etc. When it comes on do the opposite of what you were doing to begin with. If they continue or get stronger it could be actual contractions. Also, Braxton hicks are suppose to be uncomfortable but not very painful...not sure that I agree though the farther along I get and the more I have.

How far along are you now? It could also be your uterus expanding to accomodate your growing baby. As it stretches it can cause pain that lasts for a few days & aches like a pulled muscle. I bumped my appointment up a few weeks ago because I was hurting so bad and it turned out that this is what it was.  Lately I've been having pain in my lower belly and it is usually when I've been on my feet too long. Try to take it a little easier and run it by your doctor just to be on the safe side.

it could be BRAXTON HICKS (practice contractions) i get them too . but i was told only yesterday if they get really strong adn are frequent to go in and have a check up incase its early labour.. probably all normal though .  sometimes.the more you worry the worse it may seem . go get a check up just in case id suggest .

I had back labor with my first and it turns out what I though was gas pain the last month was really braxton hicks. This time around no back pains like that, but I have also started having cramping that is irregular, but 3-5 times a day. I figure it is good practice for labor... so breathe it out. Take a deep breath in and focus on releasing the tension on the exhale.

I agree w/the other posters. This is my 4th pregnancy/5th baby (last pregnancy was girl/boy twins), and this is the first time that same thing has been happening to me. If it happens 4 times in 1 hr, call your dr. I've been to the hospital twice now, and thankfully nothing's really been going on - but, better to be safe than sorry :)

it sounds like braxton hicks and the walls of ur utrus expanding. as your baby get bigger ur making more room for him or her.

how far along are you??? it could just be braxton hicks they are like practice contraction i get them often supposivly it is a healthy thing to get but you could probably ring the hospital or your midwife and ask but yeah sounds like the BH to me.
