My baby is seven months old. He is eating a veg. and 1/2 jar fruit once a day. He seems full but when he gets up from eating he still wants to nurse. Is this normal? Is he hungry or just wanting to nurse?

If your baby still wants to nurse after eating solids, this does not necessarily mean he/she is still hungry. Often they just want to nurse to get comfort & to be in their mum's arms.

either way you should just let him nurse, the nursing really is better for him than any solid food in my opinion. maybe he needs comforting. maybe he really is hungry.. maybe he just doesnt consider it a meal without some breastmilk. maybe he's thirsty! whatever the case you can provide him with whatever he needs/wants. its a *good* thing.

My 7 month old still does! He always wants to nurse, no matter how much he's eaten =)
