Just wondering what other moms have given there 8-9month olds. He's grown out of the lil teddy bear musical stuff an he's such a fast learner. He's crawling, standing an very very mobile. Any suggestions would be great!!

My daughter will be 9 months and I know other family members will be getting her a lot of toys so I'm sticking to getting her mostly clothes and a only a few toys such as an infant sled and one of those collapsible tunnels to crawl through.

yes.. it is good all kinds loves for jumping crawling etc so by this leap frog table they can easily go for it... try to make some interesting music which are good and melodious for them and if they love it then encourage them for dancing it is good and quite cool also.....

I agree with Sarah My little ones always loved the leap Frog activity table. It's great because they love trying to stand and table walk at that age. It is a deffinate hit at my house.

We have a daughter, and she for some reason is not a fan of toys. The few that we have she will play with once, then be over it. We have recently been letting her play with household items, spoons, empty coffee cans, and she couldn't be happier. For Christmas we got her Frosty from Build-a-Bear, and that is her big gift. I'm pretty sure that if we get anything else, we will be wrapping empty boxes, or books for her to open.

Dominik will be 9 months old at Xmas, and apart from the development toys the main gift will be a swing (that can be fixed in the door frame), I am sure he will love it :)

I bought my son a vtech laptop and clothes. My mom is getting him a vtech pooh topper from walmart. My son really likes playing with my laptop so I figured him would like his own. -- On a side note: Fun way to spend time with your little one is going on fisherprice.com they have fun actives for infants on there. You can print them off and they can also play some of there online games. Like peek-a-boo ... my son loves it.

My son will be 9 months by xmas and we're getting him a sit in walker, the crawling winnie the pooh toy, bath toys...cos he adores the bath! to be honest we're getting him loads. His main present though is a push along trike! Its for 10 months plus. but I have friends with 8 months olds that love them. Also getting him the push along v tech walker which he can use to help him walk but it also has a detachable vtech board that he can sit n play with with.

my little man is so eager to learn, and seems advanced so i'm asking people to get him stuff aimed at year old/18 month old children. Our present will be one of those toys for walking behind and I have also suggest an electronic bilingual book as I am English and Papa is French

i got my daughter some toys where they can kneel and push them but then it also helps them to learn to walk because its steady and they can hold on to it and push it...but it wont give out and send them flying!

Puzzles and books are excellent ideas. Push toys, like the popcorn vacuum thingy (sorry I don't know the name). We just got a pediatric maze, the toys that are in every pediatrician offices.

Those riding toys that he can sit on and then they convert so that he can stand and walk behind it. If he is already passed that stage then maybe some leap frog learning books or interactive games, they are little pricey but will last until he is 12 to 18 months... and beyind depending on what you get.
