My little Lexi will be one March 9th and she has 8 teeth, 4 on top and 4 on bottom. She got 6 of them within a month and a half! Poor little Lex!

Tom is nearly one year old on the 17 march. he has 12 teeth (6 top and 6 bottom)!! his sister was exactly the same at the same age.

Well i feel a little left out now.. my son is 11 month and a week and he has ONLY just got his FIRST tooth, and its only just pierced the skin, its not an actual tooth yet, haha. Does that seem strange? it does to me, seen as though everybody else's have had theres awhile.

Beverlie turns 1 on March 10th and has 4 teeth, 2 on top and 2 on the bottom. She's teething right now, and it looks like there may be two more coming in on the bottom soon. Poor thing, she's miserable.

That sounds about right. Landon is now 11 mo and just got his 8th tooth in. He got all four top ones at once but the bottom two came first.

My 11 month old only had his bottom 2 teeth (cut at 6 months) until just a month ago and now all 4 tops are halfway in and the other 2 bottoms are just now breaking through. Looks like some top molars are on the way now :)

Blayne is going to be a year old next week and still only has 2 teeth. . . its okay by me because less time on the bottle = healthier teeth!! He didn't even get his first tooth until he was about 9-10 months old, he got his first tooth and took his first steps within like 2 weeks!! and he hasn't gotten any since!

My son will be 1 on 3/8 and he has 1 and 1/2 teeth so far. $is first one came through about a month ago.



My daughter is now 6 and she was the same. By her first birthday she was teething with the same amount of teeth.

Olivia has eight, but she started very early with her first two at 3 1/2 months. She is working on at least two more on the top right now.

My daughter is 11months and she has 2 teeth, went to the dr today about her being sick and too an x-ray of tummy but her bottom jaw was in it too and you could see alot of teeth coming . but yet only 2. my friends kids all younger have 4-9teeth. but they will come when they are ready. the 2 popped out in dec(9months)

Leah, I've definitely seen that in the dental field! Not a pretty sight! My step sister has severely discolored teeth, but hers is a result of too much fluoride and unfortunately, there is nothing she can do about it. Her teeth are damaged. One thing I REALLY hated to see was when moms would bring their kids in for cleanings/exams and the kids would have bottle mouth syndrome. It really pissed me off, because it's completely avoidable!

my daughter Imogen is 11 months old and has 6, 4 up top and 2 down bottom, her 2 bottom ones came first and then her 2 eye teeth then the 2 top front ones, i can see 2 more ready to come through, does anyone know if it is weird for them to get their eye teeth before their top front ones??

absolutely I agree valerie that you can have a tendency towards healthy teeth through genes! however i disagree that 'the longer teeth stay in the gums , the healthier they will be- and thats really the point i was trying to make...because if your child eats a diet that is high in natural and artificial sugars, that still affects the teeth- whether they are in the gums or not...Ive had friends whose babies have lovely white 'baby' teeth, but because thay have diets that are high in sugar and have been on medications constantly due to illness- their 'adult' teeth have come through already discoloured and damaged..

Just wanted to correct Leah, staying away from sugars (whether it be natural or artificial) is awesome of course, but healthy teeth CAN be genetic, as can unhealthy teeth. I learned this in dental school 14 years ago and it's one of those things I'll never forget.

to all those thinking your child is behind, don't worry! My son Theo didn't have any teeth at all till 10 months and then he got 4 in one month! That was not a fun month. He's now working on the next 2 and he'll be 1 year next week, so he might have 6 teeth at 1 year, or he might just have 4.:)

hey sera, dont worry about it! they will come when they are ready! my son was born on the 11th of march so they are almost the same age and he has 8 but it doesnt mean anything! my first son didnt have his first 8 teeth until 14 months! and unfortunately for the person who heard that 'the longer that it takes teeth to come up, the better the teeth will be' thats an old wives tale...teeth are teeth. YOU are the person that shapes them depending on how much sugar is in their diet..whether you give your children 'full strength juice' instead of watering it down...how much anti-biotics and medications (which can be FULL of sugar!) your child has had etc etc... them staying in the gums for a few extra months doesnt mean anything except that your child isnt ready yet...

My daughter's first two teeth came in when she was 5 and a half months old. The next two didn't come in until she was 10 months old. And the very next week 3 more teeth came in!! She got 5 teeth in 2 weeks!! lol She had a fever and a bad diaper rash during this new event. It's only been a couple months since the last ones came in, but there is no sign of anymore coming.

My 10mo old son, Colten has 6 teeth thus far. He started getting teeth at 4mo old. I had taken him with me on monday to my older sons dental appt and the dentist took a peek at Colten's teeth and said it appears he is starting to get his 1 year molars already so im assuming every child is different.

My son is 11 months and has no teeth even tho i am sure he has been teething since he was 3 months old he has all the signs of teething he dosnt druell either I can see them on the sides of his gums i have since 3 months been able to see the shape of them, but still none. Anyone else with no teeth??
