Is everyones babies rolling over??

My baby is already rolling over and she hasn't turned 3mo yet, she loves being on the floor.

My daughter has been rolling over since she was 3 months old. She loves to stand when held up. She is too short for the excer saucers still. Don't worry he will do it when he is ready. Keep doing tummy time. My daughter would get mad and and do it when she first started. It is okay to let them get fussy that my force him to roll over.

The books or whatever that says he "should" be doing it are only guidelines....everything is not going to be done by textbook every time! Every baby is different.....Don't worry about what any nurses tell you....if he's healthy, he'll do it when he's ready.

My first wouldn't roll till she was around 6 months... just wasn't interested! She then didn't crawl till she was 9 months... also wasn't all that interested. Then at 10 months she decided she wanted to walk, and she did. Now she's 2 1/2 and way ahead of most kids her age physically. No worries! When your son really wants to roll over, he will!

my son deegan every now and again will roll from his tummy to back but cant quite get from his back to his tummy cuz his arms gets in the way.. if i held him on his side he can pull himslef over but he cant do it himself yet.. im sure your son will do it when hes ready!!

My daughter just started to roll from her back to her tummt last week. Now she is getting really good at it! Don't worry all babies do things when THEY are ready not when we are.

My boys are rolling from his back to side but not from side to back; they tried but have not get it. I think this is a matter of time...

My daughter has been rolling over since she was about 2 and a half months. At first she would just roll from her back to her stonach. Then she got the hang of rolling from her stonach to her back now she is all over the place lol!

My little girl started doing it about a month ago but both my boys were later (5 mths and 6mths). My eldest boy hated tummy time (but slept on tummy with sensor pad) He just didn't like being on his tummy to play. He's normal and healthy and a bright spark so not learning to roll until 6 mths didn't do him any harm. He crawled at 8 mths and walked at 10 so it wasn't an indication of a delay his development. My daugher just rolled over onto her belly for the first time on July 30th, she would get up on her side too. Just lay him on his back and let him kick around on a play mat. She rolled from her belly to back about a month ago.

Makenzie rolled from her back to tummy around 3 months, but couldn't flip back over for 3 weeks. she hated tummy time until she could roll both ways. Don't worry he will get it! It just takes lots of practice LOL

My son can roll, just started. Believe me don't be in a hurry as it's much easier to keep an eye on them when they can't move! My daughter who is now 2 never rolled, only started to crawl at 8 months every baby is different so i wouldn't worry.

My daughter has been rolling both ways since she was about 3mths but her pediatrician said that was early. I wouldn't worry about your baby, they'll do it on their own timeline. Ashlyn was suppose to be a March baby but she was born Feb 24th due to complications with her umbilical cord. So she's a lil older than most of the babys in this group.

just keep trying him on his tummy. mine is still not rolling over. he was early..hes just now holding his head up...so i wouldnt be worried about it. all babies do it at diffrent times

YEAH HE JUST STARTED ROLLING OVER THE OTHER DAY. PUT A TOY INFRONT OF HIMDURING TUMMY TIME SO THAT HE COULD HAVE SOMETHING TO PLAY WITH THAT MIGHT HELP.

Hi Sam has been rolling to his side for weeks and 2 days ago he rolled all the way over, now as soon as i put him down he rolls front to back all around the room, also back to front, i just let him work it out at his own pace, my first didnt roll until she was around 6 mths, Sam will be 5 mths on 3rd august.

this is very common, don´t panic. not all babies roll over early. My baby-boy is almost five months and still doesn´t roll over, earlier he rolled from tummy to back, but it was not a controlled move. If you want you can try playing with your baby, where you help him roll. Try also making "tummy-time" funny, let the baby look at something interesting while beeing on the tummy.

My daughter hated tummy time so my husband would play with her on his chest. Since she's angled up in that position, it's like a modified tummy time. I think that strengthened up her neck enough for her to roll over from her back to her stomach. Now she loves tummy time.

my daughter has been rolling over tummy to back for about a month. my son it took a little longer but hes was chunkier so that could be part it. I think kids do thing at their own pace, not the drs so I usually dont worry. some things my kids do before other kids their age and some things takes them longer...

Dont worry I am sure ur baby will roll in his own time, i was only saying to my friends that my baby girl wasnt rolling the next day she rolled both front to back and then back to front!

My son is rolling from his tummy to his back--has been since about three months--but not from his back to his tummy. He sleeps on his tummy (yes, I know he's not supposed to, but he won't sleep well any other way) so that may be why he does so well from his tummy to his back. Maybe you should try tummy time in his crib or a playpen. My son does not like to lie on the floor either, but he does well in his crib. I turn on his mobile and let him lay there for a while. He really likes to watch ceiling fans, too.

My daughter hates being on her belly!! she loved it for her first month no she hates it!! I think it wouldnt have been like that if i would have listened to my mom and slept her on her belly even though your not supposed to! I think we would have been better off because im still here and i slept on my belly as a baby and still do. she can hold her self up and roll on her sideand if i help her onto her belly...after a minuet she starts crying.

do u mean rolling from back to each side? ava just started to that last week..i do tummy time every day, but i'm not hard core about it...i think the same thing...the babies will scoot on their own time...and the longer she doesn't the better? LOL idk...i'm a new mom....i let her go @ her own pace, and she seems to be doing fine? what do u think? she is 4 months...

my daughter rolls from back to stomach very well. She started that on 7-8-09. She has rolled twice from stomach to back once in her crib on 7-27-09.

Lochies not he's close though im not fussed though, the longer he still stays in the same place the better lol means i can get things done still and not worry about him hurting himself, im sure he'll do it in his own time
