Scheduling

I'm curious as to what other moms are doing as far as getting a schedule going for your babies. My son is nearly 3 months old, and although he does sleep pretty well at night, we don't really have a "set" bedtime or any other kind of schedule for that matter. I would love to get him on some sort of (at least) semi-steady routine so that I can get on one as well. I'm exhausted not knowing when I will get any sleep or for how long or not knowing when I can/can't go to the store, shower, etc.. I've tried a few different things to no avail and was just wanting some other ideas if anyone has any. I do understand that it takes time and effort, but trust me, I've been patiently trying for 3 months. Thanks!

I just had my second child (in march) and with the both of them I just watched what they we're doing and made my schedule around them. Like right now with my son I know he falls asleep between 8 and 9 for the night and gets up at 6. Then I track at what times he wants to eats. Then when I got an idea of what times he gets hungry I can have it ready before a fit ensues and plan the rest of my day around him.

I never had any luck getting kids on a schedule when they're this little but if you track what times they do things, you'll see what schedule they have for themselves. And of course they'll let you know when they change it.
