This has been discussed on a few other threads where many people put that unfortunately they are more hereditary. I am fair skinned and was slight. Thankfully I haven't gotten any new ones with this pregnancy (my third) but I have begun to drink ALOT more water with this one then I did with my others I was always dehydrated with them. I know peeing alot is already an inconvenience but I'd rather pee alot then than have stretch marks. I used cocoa butter with my first and second and still got stretch marks, plus my ob advises against it but since I don't use it anymore I didn't ask why. I do use just a nice thick lotion but realistically your skin is many layers and no matter what you put on top of your skin it won't penetrate to the bottom layers where the stretch marks start. good luck. keep drinking water!

Hii Well Im 8 Moths Pregnant And The Baby Is To Bigg For My Stomach And I Dont Have One Single Stretch Mark!!! Take Your bath Wih Baby Oil With Aloe In It Every Night And In The Day Keep Your Stomache Hydrated :) And You Should Be Fine :)

GET PALMER'S COCOA BUTTER FORMULA FOR STRETCH MARKS. PUT IT ON AFTER THE SHOWER AND WHENEVER YOUR JUST LAYING DOWN CARESSING THE BABY. I HAVE BEEN DOING THAT AND I DONT HAVE ANY STRETCH MARKS AT ALL. IT WILL REDUCE THE VISIBILITY OF THE ONES YOU ALREADY HAVE TOO. U CAN GET IT FROM CVS OR RITE AID.

Coco butter works really well. I used Palmer's lotion especially for stretch marks...there are a lot of options just make sure you apply the lotion as often as possible especially after getting out of the shower while your skin is still moist.
