Weight gain within the first month!

So we took Penny in on the 30th because we thought she was starting to get a cold...she wasn't, but anyway, they weighed her and she was 11lbs at 7 weeks!! We go in for her two month on the 18th...shots and all, so I will let you guys know what our little piglet is up to then!! Glad to hear about all the happy healthy babies!!

Ewan was born March 14th at 9 pounds ( 4kilos) 52 cms's at his 6 week check he was 59.7 cm's and ( 5.26 kilos) 11 pound 10 oz. he went down to less than 8 pound in the 16 days after birth so he sure made up for it he is breastfeed and is the same size my first was at 10 weeks heheh he is going to be tall

Wow you are both doing so well, you're obviously really organised with the pumping. My little girl was 6lbs 5oz and shot up to 9lbs 3oz by her first month - she too is a hungry (but happy) little hippo : )

My little guy was 8lbs 12 oz at birth, and is over 12 lbs now at 5 weeks! Well into 3 mos clothes! My Roly Poly Olly :)

My little guy was 7 lbs. 11oz. and 20 1/4in at birth, when we took him to his one month check up he is 9lbs. 7oz. and 22 3/4 in long. I am not breastfeeding only formula. I tried but he would never latch on even at home, and i got discouraged and quit pumping because i was not getting enough. My niece was born 2 days before my son and weighed 9 lbs. 11 oz. at birth and is now 10 lbs. 14 oz. as of last thrusday.

I am breastfeeding :) Luke was born weighing 7 lbs 12 oz and 20 1/4 inches. At his 2 week (he was 17 days) he weighed 9 lbs 1 oz and was 21 3/4 inches!!!!! Yay for strong and healthy babies!

Penny is on breastmilk. I am pumping only. She was great at latching in the hospital, but when we got home it was a different story. As long as she gets it one way or the other, it is fine with me!

Congradulations!! I Love big healthy babies!! Are you breastfeeding? We haven't gone to our one month check up but we went to the one week check up and my little man grew 3 inches in 11 days, the doctor wanted to know what I was feeding him. He is on breast milk, we go back in two days for the one month check up and I know he's gotten bigger I see it in him every day.
