What are some fall activities you do with your toddler?

i invite friends who also have kids to have a cook-in in our house. that way me and my friends cook and eat our favorite dish while our kids can play. i bought toys that my daughter can share with other kids or me like the dora inflatable tent with 20 soft balls. we play and at the same time she'll learn the 4 colors in english and spanish. we bought her different sizes of balls too that we can play inside the house. we have beach balls, exercizing ball, sponge like ball and etc. we kick the ball as if we're playing soccer. we also bought her a tricycle with a handle and she likes to ride it while me or hubby push. she also have a tinker bell table with 2 chairs and we play tea party if there are no kids around to play with her. bought her books that she liked and we also play hide and seek or chasing each other. this time of year parents have to be creative. try to check nick jr. website, maybe they have activities that you might like. i'll try to visit there sometime. hope this helps. good luck! :)

My little ones love the story time at the library. We visit nature centers (most have different programs that you can enrol in for a small fee), we attend a MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) group once a month, schedule playdates with other friends, etc. Last year, I started my own story time out of my church that was open to the public. It was fun for all of us! I try to avoid play areas at the mall and fast food places, as we always seem to get sick after those times.

We are also having trouble finding indoor things to do now that it's colder outside but a couple of things we've done outside recently was apple picking (she really liked that!), we went to a local farm's pumpkin patch and got a hay ride, and we went on a nature trail. We also spent this past weekend visiting friends and family that we hadn't seen in a little while and got to catch up. I like the library idea though! We'll have to head over someday and get her a library card!

My daughter and i go to toddler story time at our local library once a week. we have three malls with different play areas that we go to once or twice a week. my daughter loves to get bundled up and run thru leaf piles or go to the park to feed the geese and ducks. we r learning letters, numbers with fridge magnets. we went to a few apple orchards. learning colors by helping me sort laundry. She is learning to dress and undress herself with larger dress-up clothes. we have a pet rabbit and she loves to be in charge of feeding him. she also likes to go to the pet store and see the other animals.

most schools and community centres have free drop-ins (gym, toys etc). we also sign up for music classes and swimming lessons. the local library has a great kids section with a toy house the kids can climb on and read in.

I joined a mom's group on meetup.com it's all in my area and they have events every day. You might want to check it out! Do you have inside play areas? Kindermusik? Libraries have story times and so do some book stores. I never would have known this without my group. Some pet stores will also do tours....skies the limit!
