My son is 18 months old, and he goes to sleep around 9-10...sometimes he can push it to 12 midnight... He wakes up around 6-7am for a bottle, then goes back to sleep untill 12pm maybe even later in the afternoon.... is this bad? He does not have a nap for the rest of the day, but some other times he wakes up around 11pm and is up untill 3pm naps untill 5pm...then goes to sleep at night around 9-10pm..... when my son sleeps real late is this bad for him?

Sunday thru Thursday my little one goes to bed around 7:30PM. This is because I have to work and she gets up at 6AM to be dropped off at the pre-school/daycare. Friday and Saturday she stays up as late as she wants since we don't have school the next day . She still gets up at 6:30-7am....

He's on our schedule. He goes to bed 11/11:30 pm and is up around 9:30 am and sleeps through the night. He then has a 2-2.5 hour nap around 1pm and a secondary shorter one around 6pm if he needs it. We follow his cues.

my 13 month old goes to be around 8.30 and is usually awake between 7.00 and 7.30 am. she has one or two naps during the day depends where we are and what we're doing. my eldest was going to bed around 9.30 at this age. I think it depends on how much they tire themselves out, my oldest was very placid and didn't consume much energy. Also we live in Italy where children go to bed later- most parents work till 7pm and dinner time even for small children is about 8pm. Then bed. Also Italians are very family oriented and don't put their children to bed early to have couple time (which I find hard to deal with being English!)

I try to shoot for 8 8:30 but sometimes she will fall asleep earlier if she didnt have a good nap. She likes to fall asleep in the car.....so it's pretty much a crap-shoot depending on how her day was with naps. But usually only 1 nap a day and asleep by 8:30

My son goes to bed between 8:30 and 9 pm. He usually takes at least one nap during the day, but the length of that nap varies. In the morning, he usually wakes up around 8 or 8:30 (and some days even earlier), but most of the time he will go back to sleep until around 9 am.

wow! I am SO lucky...my 1 year old goes to sleep anywhere between 5:30pm-6:30pm and sleeps until 6:30am. She has been in this routine since 5 months old. She does not wake up unless she did not eat dinner (baby food). She even takes 2 naps per day. I think this is mostly because her sitter has her in a good routine, and she is so tired when she gets home. We get home between 4-5pm. We have dinner. She gets a bath. She gets a bottle (still, yes, I know!). We read a bedtime story. I hug and kiss her and tell her "I love you goodnight." She is down for the night:-)

my son is 13 months old. he's normally in bed by 9 & up in the mornings by 8. It helps to put them on a napping schedule to help with bedtime times. Try a nap midmorning & mi afternoon. then after awhile switch to just a nap around lunch time. This has worked for my now 6yr old & my now soon to be 3yr old.

Ewan goes to bed at about 7:15 after his bath. he wakes at 6:30 naps from 9 - 11 then again from 2:30 - 4:00 . My first was on this same routine when Ewan was born and he was 14 months old he now at 26 month old wakes at 5:30 to come and get me to use the toilet and then goes to nap at 12:00 - 3:00 ( so they tag team really ) We started the night time routine from day dot they both slept through from 10 weeks 7 pm - 6 am and I have never had a problem with them napping. I am very very lucky. Ewan is in a big boy bed now and he takes himself for his naps. My boys love there sleep so much when you put them down they both giggle and roll into the bed.
they are at daycare two days a week and nap alot less

wow... my son goes to sleep about 11.. I work from home till about 3:00 a.m. so this works out for me... He usually sleeps till about 10 or 10:30 and naps between 2:00 and 3:00.. He has been teething so usually he wakes up right around when I go to sleep. He gets a bottle then he goes back to sleep!!
