just at about 12 months, but he has an older brother who motivates him to do everything early! Our first born was more in the 13-14 month range :) She'll walk when she is ready !

my son just started walking on his own (no holding on) 8 days shy of being 15 months!!!! I thought it was never gonna happen, but it finally did!!!! he'd been walking along the furniture since he was 9 months old!!!!

My son walked at 10 months but i know alot of babies dont start until they are between a year and 18 months. My cousins little girl didnt walk until she was almost 18 months but she was quicker getting teeth than other children her age. I'm sure your daughter will walk when she's ready.

Hi...my daughter Isabella was born on the 2/3/09....and started walking all by herself on the 20/510. Unlike her brother and sister who did'nt walk until they were 20 mths old.

All my children started one week before their first b-day, but my 1st granddaughter walked at 9 months. My grandson (3/9/09) didnt even crawl until he was 11 months, one day at about 13 months, he stood up and took off, now no-one can keep up with him!! Not even his big sister!!!

my daughter started walkiing when she was 9 months old but her cousin he didnt start walking till he was 15 months old all kids do their own thing in their own time my daughter might have been walking at 9 months but she had only just started rolling from her back to her belly at 8 months to lol so she did things very differently thts for sure i am sure your daughter wil be walking in no time at all and she is doing lots of other things tht alot of other babies havent done at that age yet. dont stress different babies do thing in different times

My first bubba walked the day after his 1st b'day and my second bubba just started walking in the last couple of days (13 months).

I think they all do there own things in there own time.

My son is 14 months now but he started 2weeks after his birthday. I was worried then, But I was told not to be concerned until after 18months it comes with time and when they are ready

My daughter took her first solo steps on November 29th... 8 months 9 days old. she was able to stand with assistance before she could roll over, walked by holding hands or around couch at about 5 months. she is now either running non-stop or climbing everything. at her 12 months check-up, our doctor said she was physically closer to 15-18 months. he said her walking so early may be related to how tiny she is (18 pounds or 8th percentile at 12 months).

Dimitri starting taking steps at 10 mos, walking well at 11 mos and now is climbing stairs and anything else and trying to run at 14 mos.

My little one is 13 1/2 months and not walking yet. I think it's because she's such a fast crawler that the crawling is quicker for her :)

My son is almost 14 mos old and isn't walking yet either. I know he probably could if he tried because he lets go of the furniture and just stands there. I think they are just too scared to let go. My oldest son also didn't walk until 16mos so there's still time! Hope your little one is walking soon! Don't worry though...soon enough you will be chasing her even more than you are now!

DS who is now 4 1/2 started walking when he was 9 months. DD who is 13 months is JUST walking now. She can take many steps, but is scared to do so and will onl do so if someone is on the flloor, she will walk to you! Or she will take a few steps to a toy! I think in the next month or so she will be fully indapendant, I am not rushing it casue then I will be chasing them both in different directons...lol!

3 days before his 1st birthday !!! But don't worry my other kids were as early as 8 months and as late as 18 months. My first was 8 months, 2nd was 9 1/2 months, 3rd was 18 months, 4th was 16 months and my 5th was 3 days before his first birthday !!!

my son is 14 months and he start to take step when he was 12 months. Now two months have passed and i that his walking milestone would have been successfully complited but i think he may have a walking disorder. not to seriouse he may just need orotpidic shoes for a few years.

My little one isn't walking either. She's only just mastered crawling, even though she doesn't do much of it. She actually prefers to bottom shuffle. As am new at this, I have no idea what to expect. I've been told by people that she should have been running by now, but am not too worried as she's definetely developing well and like they say every child is different and develops differently.

My daughter started cruising when she was 7 months old...but later..she started crawling and now she races across the room. She is 13 months old but is not motivated to walk. We do motivate her by holding her hands and helping her hand...but she is simply not interested and tries to leave our grasp. However, we are not worried. Aarohi will walk when she is ready. Currently, she stands momentarily and spreads her hands "Titanic Style" before she falls. She also crawls with her bums turned upwards..almost as if she is going to stand up but cant think of lifting the hands from the floor...All these are signs that she will walk soon...at the moment she is very happy crawling..so be it :)

My son starting walking right after his 1st birthday. He had one of his little friends over who was 15 months at the time and he kept watching him walk around during the party. After that, he just got braver and braver. Now he's everywhere and just turned 13 months :) It'll happen when she's ready. If she gets to 18 months without even trying, then its time to discuss with the doctor.

Both of my daughters started to walk a couple days after there first b-day! Everyone is different. My girl friends daughter was walking at 9months and then straight to running, dancing and singing to music videos. She grew up fast! Have a great day!!

My daughter started walking when she was 8 months, which the doctor said was rare, but said it was probably because she was not as big as most babies these days. Most women are having 9+lbs babies. My daughter was 7lbs.13oz. But I wouldnt worry, my friends son didnt even stand up till her was 14 months.

My son started to walk a little at 10 months and then by 11 months he was off. I know that each child will walk at their own pace, just keep encouraging your child!

my son Kai is 13 months old...He started walking around the furniture at about 9 months, then started taking 1-2 steps - without holding on -around 11.5 months and was properly walking by 12.5 months...he is now walking EVERYWHERE and will only crawl if he is REALLY tired...because thats when he keeps falling down! hahaha!!! But my other son didnt really 'walk' until 14-15 months...dont worry, all babies do it at their own pace...I had a friend who's daughter didnt walk until she was almost 2...and why would she- she was so cute everyone just picked her up when she held her arms up to them ! hahaha!!

you do't have to worry coz sometime when they start with their teething fisrt then they take some time to walk.

My son is 13 months old and he started walking when he was 10 and a half months. My one friends son was born 2 days before mine and he is not walking yet. My other friends son was born a month after mine and he is almost walking unaided. I think they all develope at there own pace so don't rush her, she will walk when she is ready,

my babys 13mo an shes still isnt walkin she hasnt even started crawling yet. she sits an scoots 2 where she wants 2 go.she will sometimes hold on to things 2 get around. she just took her first actual step 2 weeks ago!!! but she dont really have any interest in walkin with out holdin on, she walks holdin on tho. my son didnt walk till he was bout 1yr an 3 mo. now hes runnin jumpin an everythin else. just started climbin out his crib an hes only 2 yrs old so he is now in a toddler firetruck bed an he loves it my sisters son whos now 1 an 1/2 started walkin bout 11mo. an he runs now. my 1yr old she loves my sons toddler bed she gets mad when i have 2 take her outa his bed she can climb in it tho.

My daughter is 13 months old and she is still cruising through walls and tables with our guidance. She is trying to balance herself for walking. I think this is normal for a baby because my brothers and sisters when they are still a baby also walk at around 1 year and 4 months.
