Hello. My son born march 30, goes to bed at night great. He falls asleep on his own and always goes to sleep rather quick. However, if i want him to take a nap, it is impossible to get him to sleep unless i rock him.
It is so frustrating. First nap, i only have to rock him for a few mins, and law him down as he starts falling asleep and he will sleep approximately one and a half hours. Second nap, it takes about 30-60 mins of rocking him to get him to sleep because he fights it so hard and sometimes he simply refuses to sleep. Im a nanny and simply don't have the time or energy to rock him all the time when i have two yr old triplets to manage. I really don't want to be rocking him to sleep. I have let him cry for two hours before i got him. Help! ?

I can't give you any advice because I have the exact same problem! I definitely know how you feel. I don't know why my son can go down so easily at night, but can't go down for a nap without falling asleep in my arms first, and usually still to a bottle. We have a great bedtime routine, so he knows when it's bedtime, but we can't seem to get into a napping routine that works. He also goes down for his morning nap better than his afternoon nap, so I don't think he's ready to move to only having one nap a day. I'd love any advice, as well!
